The rustic yet comfortable accommodation, game drives with Justus and his little sayings, the local visitors in the camp site (lionesses, Harry the brown hyena, the buffalo brothers and a civit) all made this trip unforgettable for our family. I never thought it possible to see 4 different predators with their kills in 4 days! Well done Caroline and staff...

Totally different to anything else. Bush, pure Bush. If you want the Radisson or the Hilton, don't come here. This is Bush without the expensive frills. No Spa. Superb Guiding and game viewing. Great welcomes, enthusiastic and helpful staff which says a lot. Nothing too much trouble for anyone to assure your comfort and certainly excellent value for money. I...

My parents, my husband, and I stayed at Mosetlha Bush Camp in October for just one night (too short!) and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the lodgings very comfortable. (You could hear the water buffalo who stayed in the camp most nights snorting outside of our window!) My parents had been on five or six safaris previously,...

Dear JennyP Thanks so much for your review - we would love you to return some day for a longer stay (one night just doesn't crack it, does it? Although you saw some incredible sightings in just two drives!!). Best eco regards Caroline Lucas

This camp is a great choice in Madikwe Game Reserve. The staff, the location, the food, and the expertise of the guides all made our three-day stay magical (and the envy of other friends who've stayed elsewhere in the Reserve). The fact that the camp is essentially unfenced (there's a high electrical line to keep elephants out) means that wildlife...

Dear KTinSeattle Thanks for this review - I love the way you describe our local (animal/bird) visitors to the camp :) Aaargh sorry about the ice!!! We obviously don't have an ice machine (no electricity) and make it the old fashioned way in plastic trays - but we do try to always have it on hand ... we can't have...

I would like to start with HUGE "baie dankie" to Jonny+Gregg, who took fabulously care of us! Jonny IS the best safari guide one can ever ask for, his knowledge and love to the animals is simply mindblowing! we did not only saw the big5 (most of them from 1-2m distance), we learned about their life as well as weird...

We stayed for 3 nights at Mosethla during our photo Safari. We had a pleasent stay. We saw all big five and a lot more. We had Jonny as Driver. He did a fantastic Job. Also Chris the Manager of the camp did everything to give us a wonderful experience. When we arrived we drove to the headquaters and were...

Dear jochens784 Thank you for your review. This is my favourite bit: If you want a luxury Resort with full Service go to another place. But if you love to be closer to nature this is the right place. Perfectly said! I would like to just clarify that we do have solar power at our staff houses where we take...

A perfect bush camp in the heart of the Madikwe Game Reserve! After a long journey, flying from Chicago to Johannesburg, we drove to Mosetlha--about a four hour drive from Johannesburg. We had been hoping for an exciting bush camp experience, but Mosetlha went far beyond our expectations. Our three-day stay could not have been better. Our cabin on stilts...

Our third visit in 5 years and the impeccable standard hasn't changed one bit. Staying in Mosetlha assures the visitor a 24-hour 'bush' experience, within one of the very best reserves in South Africa. Unlike many stratospherically priced 'luxury' camps within the reserve, Mosetlha comes with a unique informality - meals are communal around a large central table, encouraging relaxed...
