We stayed at The Bush House on the second leg of a recent family trip to South Africa. We were collected on the airstrip by Stefan, who had been busily driving up and down to ensure no animals were about to interfere with our landing. We disembarked, loaded our bags and were driven in an open game viewer on a...

We had the pleasure of staying at the Bush House the first week of April. Our expectations were surpassed. We took our youngest daughter, who is graduating from high school, on this trip before she leaves for university in the fall. I cannot say enough about the Bush House and the amazing staff and accommodations. The food was incredible, the...

The Bush House totally exceeded my expectations in every way. I've always loved Madikwe Game Reserve and chose it as the place to introduce my God Children, who are out from England, to Africa. I was looking for a child friendly lodge and The Bush House was that and more. From the amazing setting, overlooking a waterhole, to the beautiful...

I would really like to thank Stefan, Rebecca, Henrich, Roxanne, Sjoe and Gordon for the awesome stay at The Bush House! My wife and I were really sad to have to leave yesterday. The staff are the most friendly and accommodating people you will come across. There is a family-like environment there which make you feel at home away from...

We stayed at the Bush house for 3 nights and loved every minute of it! The staff was exceptional, especially Ashley our safari guide. She was friendly and very knowledgeable on every animal. We saw Elephants, Rhinos, Zebras (everywhere), Impalas, Giraffes, kudus, cheetahs, lions (while eating their dinner!!), too many beautiful birds to even count & so much more. Even...

Madikwe reserve is a 4 hour drive North of Johannesburg or it is possible to fly in. Bush House is a family run small lodge built around an old farm house. Sue and team run a friendly and relaxed but very knowledgable safari operation and we were lucky to see the big 5 plus lots of Zebras Wilderbeast and smaller...

My girlfriend and I stayed for three nights, and we loved everything about our experience. We didn't see as much game in Madikwe Reserve as we did in our lodge in Kruger, but I would absolutely return to the Bush House in a heartbeat!
