We have been to the Madikwe on 5 or 6 occasions and not once has the reserve not lived up to it's promise. Good rainfall and plenty of standing water have given the bush a new lease of life and the reserve is looking magnificent...More

Early January is the middle of summer here so it will be HOT. Bring light-weight, breathable clothing and maybe a light jacket for the evening. Sturdy walking shoes are good if you do a bush walk.
