The central part of our first trip to South Africa - and it was amazing! We stayed at Eagles Crag and the staff there couldnt have looked after us any better! This was a great experience from the moment we arrived late - thanks British Airways - and thought we'd missed our first game drive. No! They whistled up a...

Spent 2 nights at Long Lee Manor, Shamwari Game Reserve. I had the most wonderful time. I travelled to Shamwari solo but I felt totally at ease as soon as I got there. I would like to say a special thanks to Patrick, my ranger. Patrick was amazing and ensured that I saw as many animals as possible. All the...

We stayed at Bayethe and we enjoyed our stay very much! Together with our ranger Richard we were first to see the four baby lions - what a great experience! The staff was very friendly, food was excellent and the lodge on a very good standard.

Having only booked one night at Shamwari, we were completely accepting of the fact we might not see much, if anything. However, thanks to our amazing ranger Abel, we saw an incredible array of animals - lions, cheetah, rhino, giraffe, hippo, zebra and more. Abel was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and seemed to be able to spot animals from a...

Every guest has its own dedicated ranger for the whole stay. Two games per day (3 hours each) and full board are included in the price. Two nice swimming...

We had great expectations but these were all surpassed, all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the tented lodges, which were very comfortable and private. Food was good and plentiful. However Mino our ranger took service to a different level. He managed to find us so many different animals, often tracking them down by...
