We had three nights here and did 6 game drives. The rooms were lovely - really luxurious and well equipped with amazing views across the bush. Both the guides we had were amazingly knowledgeable and had an incredible ability to spot animals half hidden in the bush. The food was great, as was the attention to little details. Yes, its...

Stayed here at the end of our visit to SA. Marvellous experience, lovely staff and far too much food, which was excellent. Only tip, don't eat the muesli as the birds tend to visit it for snacks. Fantastic game drives and a wonderful experience to drink G&Ts while the sun goes down while watching the local wildlife. On a plus...

I needn't write lots here because it was all quite simply perfect. We stayed at Riverdene Lodge and from the minute we arrived to the second we left I have no complaints whatsoever. Well worth the trip, it made our holiday to SA. Don't hesitate to book here.

We were picked up by taxi (arranged by the game reserve) and taken to Long Lee Manor Lodge on the Shamwari Game Reserve. From the moment we arrived to our leaving we had VIP treatment. It is difficult to find words that would do justice in describing this magnificent Lodge and its accommodation. The game drives were excellent and our...

I cannot recommend this place enough. We booked last-minute and from the moment we arrived, we were taken care of in a warm, professional and friendly manner. We stayed two nights at the Explorer Camp and thought it was the perfect amount of time for this experience. Our senior guide Mino as a gem and we cannot thank him enough...

Stayed with a friend at the Riverlodge. The staff is extremely nice, the food is great. Our ranger Nadine was the best, very knowledgeable and pleasant. Even went on a not scheduled night drive to see the rhinos. The whole experience is wonderful.

Treated ourselves to 2 nights to see how the other half live! Stayed at Eagles Crag which has lovely individual lodges - we were in no.1 which was nearest to main buildings so very convenient. Like other reviewers I would agree the food is good but not outstanding and there is far too much available-3 course lunch at 1.30 followed...

A luxurious combination of pampering in the Shamwari lodges and the game drives made this a great start to our holiday. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic rangers found as many animals as they could. Some great encounters with elephants, giraffes, lions and cheaters were very memorable. I loved the off-roading!

Our party took over all the 6 rooms at the lodge (the Chief Suite has hosted Tiger Woods) and it is truly magnificent! Monkeys on the balcony of our room in the morning drinking from the plunge pool. Food to die for - and you are fed at EVERY opportunity! Early wake up call for a morning game drive at...
