We spent 3 nights staying at Long Lee Manor and wow what an experience. The accommodation was comfortable, homely and clean, the staff were all brilliant , the food though far too plentiful for us was delicious , the game drivers (Jonathan) was knowledge and you felt that he cared for the animals and this was more than a job...

What an amazing place to visit. The location was wonderful, the 'Tent' have to be seen to be believed , open air showers and each has its own outdoor jacuzzi . The Game drives are central and we were lucky enough to have a fantastic guide and saw Rhino, giraffes, elephants and zebra among others. Unforgettable experience!

Our daughter volunteered at Shamwari twice whilst doing her veterinary degree her tales of how it captured her heart and inspired her made me hope that one day I too would be lucky enough to have the experience. Fast forward 10 years and my husband surprised me with a trip to S. Africa for a milestone birthday (this shall remain...

Family of 5, youngest 18 and oldest 56. All thoroughly enjoyed and definitely ranked as a contender for everyone's favourite holiday of all time. Alistair was our guide during our 3 night stay. He was amazing and really brought the trip to life, would not have been the same without him. All staff and accommodation were top class in Long...

This was our first safari and we weren't really sure what to expect. We chose Shamwari because our time in South Africa was limited and shamwari was an easy 45 min flight from Cape Town (unlike Kruger) and an easy 45 min drive to the park. The lodge we stayed at was Siriili (which feels like an intimate boutique hotel-...

This is one of the best Safaris, stayed in Eagles Grag, outstanding accommodation & very secluded from other villas Restaurant was a little formal compared to other Lodges I have stayed at, the staff are friendly & helpful as they put 3 tables together so we could sit as a group after the game drives which is nice as the...

I could write for hours about Shamwari, it is difficult to explain just how good our experience was. As a hotel it excels, as a restaurant it excels, as a game reserve it excels. The lodge that we stayed in (Long Lee) is an old Manor House that has been extended and turned into a fabulous hotel. The rooms are...

What an amazing experience at Eagles Cragg! The staff were beyond helpful with everything you could imagine catered for. Even the smallest of details were thought of which really made everything so perfect. After a long hot game drive to come back to cold towels waiting to refresh yourself or a long cold game drive and a hot towel waiting...

We spent three nights at the Sarili Lodge in the Shamwari Game Reserve. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The Lodge is idyllic with stunning views over the reserve and with only five rooms it has a real homely feel. All the team at the Lodge are fabulous, always smiling and they looked after us at all...

We decided to reverse our trip and commence our trip along the Garden route in Port Elizabeth which I believe was totally correct as your visit to this superb attraction will be one of the highlights of your trip, the but is it is full on and wall to wall entertainment starting at 6am and not stopping until 10pm so...
