My stay at Kambaku Safari Lodge was excellent! The best part of this experience (aside from the game drives!) was the staff. The people who work here are so kind and accomodating, and very personable. David runs a wonderful lodge, and has a great staff. The food was excellent, the rooms were great, and the grounds are wonderful with a...

At a fine lodge, you expect the rooms to be nice, and they are exceptionally comfortable and quiet and beautifully appointed. You expect the food to be good, and it is fresh, plentiful and inventive -- and they even (seemingly happily) accommodated my vegetarian requests. You expect the wildlife to be magnificent, and we saw everything, multiple times, including lions...

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights last week, then went to another "5 star" safari lodge further south. Our stay at Kambaku spoiled us. The people here are amazing. Neil was our Ranger, and Eric our Tracker. They are so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Neil was awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure his guests...

A home away from home. David and his staff take amazing care of their guests. A lot of attention is paid to little details - like the bedtime story that is left on your bed each night and eating together as a 'family' each night. The rooms are comfortable and the grounds are relaxing. I like that the place is...

My husband and I were there in October 2014 unfortunately only for 3 days and nights. Our accommodations were excellent. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our dietary requirements, in the bush no less. The food was spectacular and so much of it. The guides were wonderful in their constant attention to finding us wildlife and educating...
