We highly enjoyed every minute of our 4-day stay at Kambaku Safari Lodge. Staff is fantastic and work together to create a family atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Our ranger/tracker team, Evan and Albert were very knowledgeable and made the drives interesting and fun. We found all the Big 5! We traveled with our 2 children (ages 4 and...

Many thanks for your review - it is greatly appreciated. We always like to make sure that our younger guests are entertained as well as having the opportunity of enjoying all that being in the bush can show to both adults and children alike. Am also delighted that the children enjoyed the special meals that we prepare for our younger...

The lodge, staff and game drives were of exceptional standard...our group of 7 could not fault a thing...11 out of 10 for our guide Evan and tracker Albert who found the big 5, and most of the ugly 5 plus that Puff Adder. We went to other safari lodges in neighboring countries and were hard pressed to match the experience...

We enjoyed our two nights stay in this lodge mainly because of the nice attention the staff offered to us. From the moment we step in they did everything to make us feel comfortable. Their kindness and hospitality were highly appreciated. The place is well maintained. It is a very good thing having the opportunity of bringing the kids to...

Many thanks for your feedback - it is always appreciated. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and as it was over the Easter break your visit coincided with that of other families with children the same age as yours. It was great to see them enjoying themselves around the pool. As well as providing the toy...

My three days at the Kambaku lodge were fantastic; one of the best travel adventures I have had. The location was perfect, off the the beaten path but not inaccessible. Everybody at the lodge was engaging, warm, grounded and knowledgeable - with a clear love of the place and wildlife they were showing us. Many thanks to David, Nial and...

This was our first safari and we could not have asked for a better initiation than our stay at Kambaku. If you can forego air conditioning, TV, and cell phones (they have wi-fi), you will be richly rewarded with intimate five-star service, detailed accommodations, and excellent cuisine and will meet unforgettable people who now feel like close friends. Our sightings...

Wow - many thanks for your wonderful review. We are delighted that your stay with us was 'transformative' and that you adjusted to a stay without modern technology although as you say we offer free Wi-Fi during the day. We are also delighted that you enjoyed our food and detailed service. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back...

Our recent 3 days at Kambaku Lodge was a great experience. There are so many safari lodges to choose from that making the decision was time consuming. Save yourself the time and pick this one. The food is outstanding and they use different venues each night, such as under the stars overlooking the pond or by an open fire. Along...

We are delighted that you selected Kambaku Safari Lodge and had such a great experience. The gas geysers can be very sensitive when trying to adjust them to get the right temperature - and each geyser is slightly different - but we are reassured that you had hot water. We are delighted that we' exceeded your expectations' and would love...

The lodge is great, the staff really friendly, the room is very confortable, clean and beautiful. Good food, good white wine, just the red, as everywhere in South Africa, is served on normal temperature and as it was really hot, it was kind of hard to drink it, but it was good as well. I was there at christmas time...

Many many thanks for this fantastic review. While we know that we are not perfect we always strive towards giving our guests the best experience possible.
