The lodge and food were great but the game viewing was amazing. Gideon and Eric were surperb - they were so knowledgable and we had the best game viewing I have ever experienced. My only comment was that we didn't get the exact room configuration we requested which we lived with but if the kids had been a little younger...

Very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful small lodge, very private feeling. Phantastic game drives, Gideon and Eric got out of their ways to show us not only the big five, but lots of other wildlife, too, birds, hyenas, wild dogs, jakals, bushbaby, various antelopes..... Every one of the six drives was special. Erica and Luis were most welcoming hosts. We...

We visited Kambaku Safari Lodge to celebrate my fathers 60th birthday last easter (20th-23rd of march), and the whole experience was amazing. We had some trouble with missing luggage, and David called the flight companies to make sure that it got delivered to the lodge, and kept us in the loop. We traveled as a family of four with adult...

Our family of four adults stayed at Kambaku Safari Lodge for 3 nights and had the experience of a lifetime! The staff at the lodge are all amazing: Erika is wonder woman; Richard and Veronica lead a great serving team; the women in the kitchen are incredible chefs and were unbelievably accommodating to our dietary needs (gluten free, dairy free,...

Everything for our honeymoon at Kambaku was amazing. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and our room was beautifully setup. The food at family dinners at night was seriously top notch as well, and made for a nice community feel. Our ranger and tracker (Nic and Herman) were always super knowledgeable and genuinely into answering everybody's questions about any...

My best friend and her daughter were visiting for the UK so we booked a "girls only" Game Drive and Dinner with Kanbaku Safari Lodge to round off their visit to South Africa. It was truly a special experience, as always. Kambaku Safari Lodge is extremely child friendly and our two 6-year old daughters were the "Bells of the Ball"....

This was my first safari and it far exceeded my expectations. The lodge is so cozy and comfortable, it made me feel like we were at a family home. The "Mike's"our guide and tracker were so fun and knowledable, we learned so much from them. They made sure we saw all the animals we wanted, including the wild dogs (wow...

I loved everything about my stay at Kambaku Lodge. If you are considering booking this, do it! The safari game rides themselves were the obvious spotlight and were so much fun. We saw tons of awesome of animals, had a great guide who was very knowledgeable (Mike) and tracker (Mike). They went out of their way to make sure we...

We visited South Africa in November and were lucky enough to be able to spend 3 nights at Kambaku Safari Lodge. Although we did not personally book our lodging here (our entire trip was booked through an agent), we could not have been happier with the selection. The staff was terrific and made our trip much more enjoyable. We took...

This was our first safari ever, but we both really wanted to do it. So we booked through a German individual travel agency and they booked us into this gem in the Timbavati reserve. Kambaku has excellent customer service and is a nice and small lodge. You can unwind entirely and re-connect with nature. We had a nice little cottage,...

Thank you so much for the lovely review of your stay with us and for commenting on all the various aspects of the lodge. Our game viewing is generally very good - but you were lucky to see the wild dogs and pups - always too cute ! I am happy to see the attention to detail in the camp...
