I stayed at N'kaya Lodge over Christmas. Nkaya is a little lodge comprising of four rooms. It is very homely and the couple who run the lodge, Lenai and Andre are a huge part of the reason why this lodge scores highly in my review. The suites at Nkaya are divided into two sections, the bedroom and the sitting area....

Have just found time to write this review as we traveled to N'kaya lodge back in July. What a great peaceful place to go see the big 5. The lodges are very roomy and comfortable as are the grounds with the small pool for a quick dip and the water hole which we spent much of our free time by....

We stayed here for two nights, 9th and 10th November and I thought this lodge was exceptional. To get there you have to drive yourself to the main lodge, which is quite exciting, especially when you spot your first giraffe - bizarre how easy it is to miss them! We were then collected by our tracker Andres who took us...

Thank you very much for the review. I have had a word with the guys about dropping the ball on your stay, and I trust they have picked up the standard to where we want it to be. Thank you for reviewing, it would be nice to have you back here any time.

The big sixth in this case, being the lodge. It was perfect. Really comfortable accommodation and so peaceful, with a rhythm to the drives and downtime that meant you couldn't do anything but relax and drift into African time. Andre and Lene are very welcoming and have the knack of making you feel as though it is your home for...

We have just returned from 4 nights at Nkaya Lodge and can not fault it in any way. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable; the food was plentiful, varied and always delicious. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and the extra touches, such as the surprise private meal in the hide and...

We stayed at N'Kaya for 4 days in early Sept 2015. I cannot recommend this place enough. We had 8 people so we had the camp all to ourselves. Each game drive was great, Dean and Andres made sure we saw a lot of animals (the big 5 within 2 drives) and pointed out many not so obvious things in...

Facilities a very good. 4 days 3 night, Our 2nd trip to Kruger parks and absolutely beyond expectations. Comfortable, hospitable. Good food. Good people. We were very selective, and wanted a smaller populated lodge,( not crazy city crowds, telephones , wifi priority people etc ) in order to introduce our teenage children to the fabulous Kruger spectacles. We found it,...

This was my third visit to N'Kaya, an intimate game lodge in the Thornybush Reserve and each visit has been memorable. This particular 4 night stay was the best so far, all due to the calibre of staff, from hosts Andre and Lene, and excellent guide Dean, and tracker Andries. it was fascinating to observe their skill in tracking the...

Solid experience. N’Kaya Game Lodge is a small camp located in Thornybush game reserve; a fenced reserve near Krueger National Park. The grounds are pleasant; the bungalows roomy and comfortable; and the food good. We stayed at 4 camps in South Africa on this trip, and N’Kaya offered a good wildlife viewing experience. The staff was attentive and pleasant. In...
