We have visited South Africa three years for the purpose of photo safari. We stayed at three different lodges each year - so in total we've stayed at nine lodges. Monwana Game Lodge was the BEST of the nine. The rooms were beautiful and a perfect layout for families traveling together (it was my son, mom, and me). We had...

We loved the whole experience from the warm, friendly hospitality to the great food, especially as I am gluten free and the superb game viewing. A huge thank you to Jacques, Emma and staff at Monwana for making this such a memorable experience, we would love to return!

We spent 3 nights at Monwana and it was a wonderful experience. Jacques' passion and enthusiasm made the game drives exciting, he always gave the extra effort trying to find animals we were hoping to see. Loved his 'useless information' stories. It was amazing to see Morris the tracker point a pack of hidden leopards. The accommodations & food were...

Just returned from three nights stay at Thornybush. A fantastic experience, from arrival to departure. The accommodations and food are first class and our ranger and spotter did a terrific job in finding the animals for us. Would love to return again!

Loved everything about it. Warm and gracious hosts, great game drive experiences. Food was wonderful. Open, relaxed format. Accommodations were fantastic. Evening fire-pits and cookouts were great. 10 out of 10.

We spent 3 nights and took 6 drives with team Monwana, what a fantastic place! Our room was spectacular, with an awesome deck looking out onto the watering hole - where over our stay 5 giraffes, a water buffalo, some water Buck and a family of warthogs including babies came to stay! That's before we even set off on a...

Thank you to Tammyn, Malcolm and the team at Monwana Lodge. My daughter and I have just spend 4 days here and it really was something very special. Aside from the Kruger magic getting up close and personal to animals we've only ever seen in documentaries, the service and accommodation was exceptional, truly 5 star. Malcolm the Ranger has been...

We booked the Monwana Game Lodge at the very last minute while on vacation in Cape Town. The only room available was the Honeymoon Suite, but we were intent on including a safari in our African adventure, so we splurged. Worth every last cent. Having read the TripAdvisor reviews, we knew we wouldn't be disappointed with our choice. That said,...

We stayed only two nights in this wonderful spot. One more day and night would not have gone amiss. We were there for the game and were not disappointed thanks to the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide Jaques and tracker Morris. We saw all the wildlife we had hoped for - and more. The room with it's view of...

Thank you, Jacques, Emma, Morris, Valentine, Mapule (probably not written like this) and all the others for yet another great stay. We've visited your lodge in 2012 and were so enthousiastic that we wanted to come back. But when memories are that good it is easy to be disappointed when you come back for a second time.... Luckely that's not...
