We had wonderful game viewing, saw the big five on second drive, we also saw wild dogs four times. It was made by our guide Damian who was very knowledgeable and and great fun as well. Our tracker Caswell was brilliant and could not do enough to help you.The rooms were very good, spacious and clean over looking the water...

We stayed in February 2017 as a group of two couples. We were absolutely delighted with the whole experience. Our rooms were exactly as we expected - not 5*, but comfortable, clean with all of the amenities we were expecting. The lodge building was cosy and very pleasant as were the outside sitting areas. The food was good - freshly...

While working in South Africa, my husband and I decided to take a weekend safari trip to Kruger National Park and stay at the Gomo Gomo Game Lodge. Beautiful setting with very comfortable private cabins and a very nice main lodge located in front of a water bed where the animals would come and drink and bathe. The staff at...

Absolutely the climax of our holiday!! A very natural-looking game lodge with adequate facilities to give you a taste of safari life. Game drives were fantastic, made even more special by our intrepid guide/ driver Werna!! He was knowledgeable, but passionate too about the animals and birds, the environment and astronomy. We felt safe in his hands but he was...

Very run down, needs some T.L.C., no lock's on doors; food, 2 choices sometimes. On our first safari drove at 70 up and down main road, searching for leopard,on-being asked if the other ranger had sighted one, the answer was, have not asked, but it was yes, but did not say anything because you where going the other way. Team...

Thank you for your review, this has been solved and looking at our feed backs the last 4 weeks we are back too the Gomo all knows, it is a pity that a guide can do so much damage having a personal problem against the lodge. This mentioned he no longer works for Gomo as our standard is too high...

A year ago the lodge's water hole was dry and the surrounding bush very dry but we still managed to see the big 5. This year the water hole was over half full and the surroundings were green, although some rain was needed. The staff had changed but we had 6 excellent safaris with Dominic as tracker and Damien as...

We spent 3 nights at Gomo Gomo and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The guides were incredible and so passionate about what they do. We managed to see the Big 5 including a pride of 8 lions and 2 leopards feasting on an impala! The lodge was great with a huge deck overlooking a water hole...

We were made to feel very welcome here and on arrival the ranger ran through what to expect formally and professionally but with a nice casual way. Rooms- bushveld rustic is probably the best description and kept clean throughout. Comfortable beds although the shower was temperamental but hey we were in the sticks and it added to the African way....

We stayed at Gomo Gomo for 3 nights. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean with little verandahs. Our room had a view of the waterhole which was visited by a hippo and a herd of elephants. The meals could be improved and was nothing special. The service was a bit slow...one morning it took the...

Guides were superb, as were all the staff. It's a lovely place but there were serious issues with the vehicles used for the drives. We broke down on five out of six drives. And had to push start the recovery vehicle on the last breakdown. Turning into a complete farce really. It detracted from the trip, worrying how long we'd...
