Our three days stay in January 2017 at the nThambo Tree Camp was a very pleasant stop over. All the Staff were extremely helpful. Ryan and Isaak gave us a lot of information to take away with us about the bush animals we saw during the safaris.

This was our first safari ever, and we have really enjoyed our days at nThambo Tree Camp. The fact that the rooms on poles are in the middle of the bush really added to a sense of adventure. Even though you are in the middle of nature, the camp has a luxurious feel. Very nicely decorated rooms, good linen, great...

All around great experience. From start to finish felt quite pampered. Welcome drink, sundowners on ddrives, greeters with wet towels and local cordials upon our return, and great food! Rooms were clean and tastefully designed. Good linens, amenities, hot showers, viewing deck. Ryan and Isaak extremely good at their jobs. We leanrned about birds, snakes, insects, flora as well as...

Very happy we have chosen nThambo Tree Camp for our first safari. The rangers have a lot of experience and are easy going. The food is also good, just like whole SA. Our highlight was when one of the rangers woke us up at 01.00 AM because the lions had caught a buffalo. Very impressive. The only bummer was that...

This was my very first safari and it was a wonderful treat! First the camp only accommodates ten ppl at a time so you get super personal attention and get to know all of the guest and staff well. Ryan aka Daisy was amazing as our guide offering us great insights and facts about the animals! And the spotter Issac...

100% satisfaction!!!! Our stay at the camp was amazing and full of outstanding experiences. And this was mainly caused by the great staff: Our guide/tracker Luan and Isaac made it to find the big five in only four game drives and Nadia and her colleagues at the camp made it that we always felt like being welcomed by friends. The...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay because of the wonderful and friendly staff, fantastic room, and just an overall wonderful experience. Having everything taken care of (food, safari, etc) was a huge plus that allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience.

This was an unforgettable celebration for our 25th wedding anniversary . Well organized, lovely people, good food and lots, lots of variety in animals and vegetation. Also small amount of accommodation, so quit and privat.

Had I not spent 10 days driving around Africa prior to my visit to nThambo, I probably would have rated this better. The mostly wooded habitat at nThambo is not conducive to viewing large herds or a large variety of wildlife at close range. We often drove through bushes to get closer to animals. Most were repeats of things we'd...
