Loved this place, staff were welcoming and very friendly. Our first night was in their treehouse. We fell asleep with the mosquito net waving gently around our comfy bed listening to the sounds of hyena, lion and leopard. Such a romantic first night in Africa! Game drives were great, Mike and Greg were very knowledgeable and showed us a fantastic...

Hi Sue Thanks so much for your review and for the positive feedback about our staff. We're very happy you enjoyed the treehouse experience - quite an adventure and it brings you so close to nature. The sounds of the wild are the best! Mike and Greg are incredible rangers and trackers; it's very clear they're passionate about their work....

Our stay was disappointing in both ways. Accommodation was basic, not to say neglected. The food also. The management dit not really bother to make you feel welcome, rather indifferent. The tracker and driver did a good job during the game-drives.

Hi Peter Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We take all of our feedback seriously and have taken up your concerns with our camp manager, Jen. We're disheartened to hear that you felt management did not make you feel welcome. We would love for you to elaborate on this matter further so that we can take...

Last week, my husband and I spent two days at Africa on Foot and I wish that we could have stayed longer. The camp is in a private game reserve (connected to Kruger) and has wonderful amenities. The cabins are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The staff is knowledable and friendly. Africa on Foot specializes in the little touches- a cool...

After staying in Kruger at the public camps and self driving (also great), we wanted a private experience where the lodge took care of meals and safari drives (wee bit of pampering). AOF was perfect. It isn't like a hotel dropped into the middle of Kruger, like some of the super high end places. The camp and rooms are still...

Hi There Thanks for your review! Our camp is small - we prefer to give guests a personalised experience and become part of the Africa on Foot family. We find it's the best way to learn about the bushveld and its wonders. We're glad you enjoyed the experience and being waited on hand and foot! Come and visit soon. Warm...

Great place to stay in the bush. Lovely accomodation and excellent service. Guide/tracker were awesome, so knowledgeable and did all they could to show us the animals and local environment. Highly recommend staying here. Between the bush walk and game drive each day there is plenty of time to relax too!

This is the place to go and be one with nature in the bush of Africa. The staff were so amazing from cleaning, cooking, cocktails and guides, Greg and Enoch were "da bomb" with finding the animals. The animals we saw in 4 days went above and beyond what we expected. The set up at camp is perfect and the...

Hi Tom Thanks for taking the time to review our special camp. We aim to provide a personalised and authentic safari experience; which often lacks in other lodges. Our trackers and guides have grown up in the bushveld and know the Klaserie really well and the dynamics with predators and other species. Ah yes - the elephants, they seem to...

Hi There Thanks for your feedback. Yes - this is most certainly "Africa" at its best! The elephants seem to think that our swimming pool is their personal waterhole. One of the advantages of being located in an open camp is that wildlife can roam freely throughout. We're glad you experienced the treehouse - it's the perfect spot for the...

Very comfortable bush camp. Beautifully small. Food excellent. Guides and staff excellent ie above average. Be prepared to be sociable with other guests, its one if the benefits. Do take advantage of viewing and sleeping in the observation deck. Enjoy the elephants who frequent the space too.

Hi There Thanks for your review! Having a small camp means we can provide a more personalised and intimate experience, experiment with menus and provide that typical African safari atmosphere. Yes, we encourage our more adventurous guests to experience sleeping the treehouse! Warm Regards The Africa on Foot Team

Hi There Thanks so much for your positive review. Four nights is just the right amount of time to stay at our camp - although we do wish you could have stayed longer. Our professional walks always add a different dimension to your safari - we feel that guests must learn all that they can about the bush. And that...

Lovely staff, resort and place. Would love to come again. Hope it will rain soon, as the surroundings and animals would love a splash of water. The treehouse is a lovely way to relax and look for animals yourself. The badger that scurried around at night was a great find.

Hi There Thanks so much for your positive review and feedback. We'd love to have you come back again and, yes, we desperately need water. However, we have just had a short bout of rain in the reserve! The honey badgers are often around the boma area at night - come again and we're sure you'll see them in action!...
