Worth every penny you pay! Amazing structure: rooms, swimming pool, food and staff. Found people speaking more than five languages. About safari, everyone said we were lucky but cannot avoid the efforts of the rangers responsible for my group. Cello and Fredie made all possible to find all big five and other interesting animals such as porcupines, antilopes, birds and...

This is a private reserve, so game drives can go off road. Staying in Kruger National Park, vehicles must remain on road. Off road is the best way to see wildlife (especially the leopard). During my visit, I was fortunate enough to see the Big 5, with the leopard being the highlight. However, as a solo traveler, I was placed...

We stayed at Kapama River Lodge in beginning of Oct and had an amazing experience. We were picked up by our Guide/Ranger Rassie and were welcomed by the staff at Lodge with refreshing drinks. The check in was a different experience, very casual, calm, shown around the lodge, given all the info sitting in the lounge by the pool. The...

From the moment I was picked up until the moment I left I was in awe of how beautiful the lodge is and how surreal it is to be on a South African Safari. I was picked up at the airport by my Ranger Sello, and as soon as we got through the gates and drove to the lodge (opposite...

Extremely happy with the stay at Kapama.. The staff were friendly, rooms spacious, delicious meals... The gaming experience was amazing - ask for Harry as a ranger when you visit!! He was funny, friendly, informative, knowledgeable and damn good at his job!! :D Couldn't see Cheetah out of the Big 5, but saw the rest of them quite a few...

Good and very friendly service. We will definitely visit Kapama (especially the Buffalo Camp. Claire and her staff were very friendly, helpful and neat. The food was delicious and very well prepared. A positive point is the privacy that we had during the day.

Yes, the hotel is great in location, decor and staff. We had a spa room which is in a separate building at some 200 mtrs. Room is great in every way. BUT: wifi sucks. I know it is bush but at such a price one would expect that better. Breakfast and lunch are good, dinner is also buffet and that...

This was my first visit to a safari lodge and I was quite impressed. The Kapama River Lodge is good value - all meals and two safaris (early morning and evening safaris) are included in the price. The food was great quality and we found ourselves enjoying it too much! The rooms were clean, spacious and beds were very comfortable....
