We came down for "Vines in the Pines" and wanted a place close-in so we could walk and window shop. This was perfect! Staff was super-friendly and even gave us a key to another cabin to check out for a future stay. Internet was available, not super-fast and a sketchy connection. TV was elderly and small, if that's important to...

We rented Cabin 21 and it was perfect for a family of 5. The bedrooms, were a bit tight, but have the basic necessities. Both have double beds that are comfortable. The living room has a sofa bed and they provide extra pillows and linen for it. It has a full kitchen with everything that you need to cook simple...

“Cabin #7” is NOT a cabin! It’s a 5x15 closet, with a very hard mattress and two small pillows. There is an old 19” TV propped by the ceiling with a fussy image and one small wooden chair. There was a rod hanged on a corner, but no hangers, so no place to put your cloths. Forget about a hair...

We had a great time especially my children, a very nice and peaceful place to stay, the only problem was that the office closes at 5pm, the person on call after hours never answers. Othwr than that We loved it! We are defenitely coming back.

We booked online for a 3 night stay after a work related stop in Santa Fe. Many of these cabins were built in the 1940's. Very rustic and cute. It had a small kitchen, bathroom, living/sleeping area and a nice little porch to watch the deer from. The employees were very nice and gave us some tips on what to...

The manager was VERY helpful when we met with a small problem. Folks, if you discover something while staying at a place - NICELY share it with the management. They really do appreciate it. The carpet was worn, had a few issues with bugs (at least they were dead!), torn screen in the door, there was supposed to be a...

Cabin 5 was clean, linens were clean, and the bathroom had new fixtures. The thin canvas window shades do not block light and don't completely cover the window. The porch light on cabin 7, just a few feet away, shines directly in the window. The head of the bed is directly under the window, so the light was directly in...

We stayed in a cabinette, it was clean and comfy. Perfect and inexpensive for a 1-2 night stay. It's also walking distance to main street shops and restaurants. The ladies at the front desk were also very nice. We will stay here again.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary in Ruidoso. Unfortunately, it was Labor Day weekend. I finally found a room at Apache Villiage after a cancellation and good luck. Room is called a cabinettte. Bed, bath, desk, microwave and fridge. Real nice for the price paid. Much cheaper than a cabin elsewhere.

Our family stayed here a couple of nights the end of July. The cabin was small and clean. Exactly what we needed. We loved the location. Away from the congestion of town but a very short 3 min drive to get to the fun activities. My 4 kids(12,10,9,6) never turned the T.V. on, or ask for Ipads/phones. They enjoyed running...
