We spent 3 nights at Arathusa, and in common with other reviewers we loved the place. I won't repeat too much of what has been said already, but we particularly loved the waterhole setting and all the game viewing this gave from the comfort of a sunlounger between drives. A particular highlight was one lunchtime witnessing a herd of 40+...

Arathusa provided us with a great value for their luxury accommodations. We loved their two Game Drives per day and their daily schedule. Fantastic and friendly staff... from their reception to their meals to their spa services. We were lucky to get Rein as our Ranger Guide. He was very knowledgeable and did his best to make us see the...

Pretty well everything about the Arathusa met or exceeded our high expectations. Even my 2 teenage sons were blown away by the 3-day safari, and that is saying something! They concentrate on the things that REALLY matter for a high-quality safari experience - like the sheer excellence of guides, the comfort of accommodation, the range/quantity of food and drink, the...

Cliff Notes version: Great accommodations. Restaurant-quality food. Request Drizz and Derrick (aka Double D) and you'll have the best safari you can ever imagine. Now with more detail... Accommodations: I went with 3 other girlfriends to Arathusa for 4 days in the beginning of July. Two of us stayed in the cabin named "Bushwillow." There was a huge comfortable bed,...

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Arathusa! From the safari game drives, to the accommodations, and food, everything was top notch! The only thing we would have done differently would be the trip in. We landed at Nelspruit and took a private car 2 1/2 hours down unpaved roads. Apparently there is a landing strip that you...

My partner and I have just spent 3 days here at Arathusa, and what a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and the pretty 5 and got so close and personal to these animals it was out of this world, no need for zoom!...

We had the most amazing time at Arathusa! Our guide and tracker, Sean and Reef, made a wonderful team. We were up close and personal with so many animals. They were fantastic at finding 'hard to find' animals and were so respectful and knowledgeable about all of the wildlife...especially the birds :) From the moment we arrived the entire staff...

My husband and I were guests at Arathusa in July 2014, and the lodge exceeded our expectations in so many ways! This was our first safari, though we stayed at another lodge after our stay at Arathusa, and this was by far our favorite. The safari rangers are fantastic and extremely knowledgable about their work. We drove with Dries (ranger)...

Arathusa had everything I was imagining when we arrived. Every staff member was very friendly and offering to make our stay more enjoyable every day. Our game ranger, Rein, was top knotch and went out of his way to make sure every person on the safari got to see what they wanted on each game drive. You could tell that...

We really enjoyed our visit to Arathusa for 3 nights. The game drives were the highlight of our visit. Right up there were the dinners in different locations on each of our 3 nights, boma dinner, dinner in the bush and dinner on the deck by the lake. This was the only lodge of the 3 we visited that had...
