This is my first safari, so I'll leave it to safari enthusiasts to correct me in any way. From what I have gathered, the biggest difference between Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands Park is the ability to go off road. In Kruger, you may cover more distance on tar roads, but if animals are not near the vehicle, you...

Aruthusa was the First of two safaris we booked while in SA; fabulous accomodations overlooking a large water hole where a variety of animals gathered. The game driver Sean and his tracker Rifis were very knowledgeable making for great and exciting game viewing. Although a smaller area animals were abundant with a lot less driving required than the second camp...

We stayed at Arathusa Safari Lodge for four days at the end of December, 2016. We booked our trip which included accommodations, delivery to the lodge and air from Johannesburg and to Cape Town through Africa2Go. Tracy at Africa2Go was very accommodating and responded quickly to any question. Everything was very smooth and professional. Upon arrival at Arathusa, we were...

My wife and i recently went to Arathusa Safari lodge on our honeymoon in March 2017. I'll keep this short - it's incredible. And easily the highlight of our honeymoon. We saw everything - rhinos, buffalo, leopard, lions, cheetah, hippo, elephants and everything in between. Food was excellent, staff helpful and smiling, and the setting over the watering hole is...

Arathusa is a beautiful game park and the rooms overlook a small dam which sometimes has a resident Hippo! The twice daily game trips were excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable. On our second day we saw 2 Cheetahs and a Leopard drag its kill up a tree - amazing

We stayed for 3 nights....the peace and clam and luxury of the lodge was perfect, the staff couldn't do enough and we had the best safari experience with our guide Jamie and Norman. This was very different from Kenya, we were very up close and personal to all the animals because of the exceptional knowledge and skill of these people...

Arathusa was happily the perfect choice for our bucket list safari! My husband and I stayed 3 wonderful nights in this rustically luxurious safari lodge. We enjoyed great food, a friendly and accommodating staff and we saw the Big Five more than once along with zebras, hyenas, and more. Our room/rondavel was huge, beautiful and clean. The pool and bar/lounge...

We fell in love with arathusa the first moment we arrived, a feeling that only deepened over time. Our ranger and tracker (Roy and Chris) were out of this world exceptional, but truly the whole staff was great. The game drives were everything I had dared to hope for. Would strongly recommend this to anyone considering a safari!

We met couples who were there the 8th time and another the 3rd time, so we thought this cannot be wrong and true enough, the experience we had over the 3 nights stay was far beyond words. The room was big, clean and tidy. The 3 meals daily were delicious and provided enough choices for seafood, meat and vegetables eaters....

Our experience was wonderful. The ranger Jamie was very imformative and really went the extra mile so we didn't go back disappointed. Norman the tracker was unbelievable,he saw cheetahs and lions that we would never of spotted without his trained eye,he found the big five for us and a 2 month old elelephant. The highlight of the day was seeing...
