We stayed 3 nights in Simbambili - it starts with a very warm welcome when you arrive - then your own butler was presented to us. Stanley was always around at the main building and his service was excellent. The food was very good and more then enough. The rooms are big nice with private pool and Nespresso coffee maschine....

We had an amazing time at Simbambili Game Lodge. Our guide, Sipps, and tracker, Service, were beyond phenomenal. We saw the Big 5 within 12 hours of arriving there. Sips had so much knowledge and was so impressive and watching Service track animals was wild!! The staff in the entire game lodge from greeters, to spa to butlers were so...

When writing reviews, I usually include PROs and CONs. I can't come up with any CON's about Simbambili! Each room is a luxuriously-appointed separate chalet with its own (completely private) plunge pool and outdoor shaded lounge bed facing the bush. The food was plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented (a joke among guests was that we always seemed to be eating:...

YES, we saw the big 5 in 3 game drives! (but soon you will realize thats not the most memorable thing there!) We saw leopards in EVERY single game drive! Plus elephants, lioness and their curb, hyenas, rhinos, hippos, buffalo and many birds, zebras, antilopes....including wild dogs hunting! That was the first safari of my life so I might not...

Came for safari trip in November 2016 with a friend. From the minute we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and hospitable. A truly relaxing time with luxury touches. Alli and Sipho were extremely accommodating, especially when I had a reaction to my malaria prevention medications and had to miss a drive and a dinner -- they arranged for dinner...

We are a young couple and spent three nights in this wonderful game reserve. Everything was amazing from the safari drives, food, spa, staff and the attention to detail. This is a small lodge that will definitely amaze you!

My wife, myself and four friends visited at the end of February 2017 and had a fantastic time. The welcome, the accommodation, the people and the food were outstanding. Simbambili seem to be able to effortlessly combine luxury with a feeling of homeliness. The key purpose of our visit to the lodge was, of course, the safari drives. These were...

Luxury boutique hotel with excellent food, helpful staff and incredible game viewing! Rooms are updated and spacious. Restaurant overlooking the waterhole (elephants galore...) was a nice touch. Only complaint(or benefit if looking to really unplug...) was that the wifi was spotty for rooms that are further from reception. While not on ours, wife and agreed it would make a great...

We stayed three nights and were lucky enough to see everything we wanted and hope for. Then to top it all on our last game drive we saw Wild Dogs, huge male Leopard and a Cheetah. The wild dogs and the cheetah were rare sightings. This wouldn't have happened if we hadn't had such a brilliant driver Sabre and Tracker Service....

We honeymooned here for 5 nights in October 2016 and cannot rate this place, the staff and the experience highly enough. From the second you arrive you are provided with a VIP service and encouraged to relax. During your stay you have a Butler, Tracker and Ranger who do all they can to make your stay special (shared between 6...
