Spent 3 nights at Tydon (7-10 Oct 2016) - 1 night in Safari Camp and 2 nights in Bush Camp (their review separately). Was travelling solo, the rate was 12,800 Rand for 4-day safari (note this is 2016 rate), including transfer from and to Johannesburg, game drives, full board. Before booking, emailed Gavin to enquire, replies were prompt but only...

My partner and I have just returned from a four night stay at Tydon - and it was truly awesome - as other than the crew / staff being first class - the camp has a unique selling point in that they can take you into both Sabi Sands and Kruger. The former is much quieter with gravel / sandy...

Memorable trip of a lifetime. We were picked up from our hotel in Johannesburg by Gert, very jolly and lovable guy. The 5 or 6 hr drive was a breeze with him around. :) Then, we were warmly greeted by the staff and guides in the camp. They brought us each to our own rooms, or rather tents - which...

My wife and I spent 5 days at the Tyson Safari Camp and had an amazing experience that we will both always remember. The accommodations were great and the staff goes above and beyond for their guests. The knowledge that the guides had was great and the days and meals were all planned out each day for us. Having dinner...

We had a great stay at Tydon Safari Camp. The camp was really nice with the luxury tents and evening barbeques. The staff was so friendly and super professional and passionate about their work. We liked the fact that you get to go both to Kruger and Sabi Sands, different experiences. Would definately recommend Tydon for everybody!

5 day safari with the Panaoramic Drive. This is a very organized and dedicated group. Flexible with dates. We stayed at the Safari Camp which was super comfortable and lacked for nothing whilst still maintaining the ambience of the African Bush. The vehicles used were outstanding, not crowded and great viewing, especially those used in Sabi Sands. The guides were...

I took part in a 5 day 4 night safari with Tydon Safaris in late March 2017 and could not have been happier with the trip. Tydon offers a very unique experience in that they split your time between the private reserve (Sabi Sands) and Kruger national park, which is connected. This allows you to see a diverse range of...

The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. They went above and beyond to make a memorable experience for us. They drove right up to animals in the private game reserve. They are respectful of the wildlife while getting you up close.

Traveled with my wife and a friend and had a terrific experience. We selected the 4 day safari, which allowed us to explore both Kruger Park and the Sabi Sands game reserve. Echoing all the other reviews here, these guys hit it out of the park and thought of everything. The most important part is the guides were friendly, funny,...

Tydon Safaris drove us through two parks, the first one I should mention is South Africa's renowned Kruger Park which is a nice experience because you get to see animals that are less likely to see in Sabi Sands, like hyenas and hippos. Unlike Kruger, Sabi sands allows for the vehicle to go off road which lets you get much...

Nestling in the shade of indigenous trees, this visual oasis of inspirational elements combines to culminate in this magnificent Tented Safari Camp. Intimate and comfortable, yet simplistic combined with excellent service, the Camp creates a traditional African Safari feel to your journey, and you can be forgiven for thinking you were transported back in time to an unspoilt and unexplored Africa.
