We really enjoyed our stay in cabin # 14. It was a one bedroom with a gas fireplace. Cosy. Right on the river. The kitchen was well equipped we which we like so breakfast is fast and easy before heading out for the day. We really appreciated the information given at the front desk, re, ski rentals and dining options....

Stayed in cabin #5. Recently upgraded. Sleeps family of 4 comfortably. 2 in upstairs bedroom and 2 on futon. Fishing in their pond is not good on October. Not one of us caught a fish. Only saw 1 other person catch one. Not a stocked pond in October. Walking distance to a few shops and to Texas Reds.

Our first three nights were in Cabin One. The floor is not even close to being level. They provide door stops to keep the doors open. The kitchen utensils were inadequate. We had to go to the office to get a regular skillet. The beds had weird box springs. Every time you moved in the bed, it would make a...

I rented a 3 bedroom that was really small all the bedrooms only had full size beds, only two people could be in the kitchen at one time and it only had one bath. I had friends in other rooms that were so unlevel you couldn't set anything round on the table. The main thing was the owner was a...

We have stayed in Rio Colorado many years and we're very happy. We stayed in #20 and #21. Those cabins are now not available due to a rule they have which gives visitors the same cabin for the same days , year after year. My husband and I stayed in #25 this July. We knew it came with an efficiency...

We stayed here for two nights, wish it could of been longer. The cabin was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. We felt secluded, and yet could walk to everything in town. If we ever come back to Red River we know where to stay. The owner was also very helpful. Thank You for a wonderful stay.

This is our 3rd stay here in 4 years. This time we brought most of our extended family any stayed in three cabins. The Rio Colorado is a great place for families with kids and dogs. Even during spring break there are two sled hills for the kids to play on. Our kids ages 11 and 14 love this place....

The staff was so pleasant and helpful. We were driving home and there was a storm coming so they checked the roads for us and told us the...

Me and my friend stayed in cabin 19. It was one of the most relaxing getaways I've been in a while. Amy in the office was very helpful explaining all of the activities in the area. The deers that came and ate out of our hands was the highlight! The cabins are secluded away from the main road, only a...

We loved staying at the Rio Colorado. The cabin was clean and the heater worked great! The only downside was that the floor and cabin was so crooked. One side of the cabin went down then you would have to climb up on the other side. Its was pretty bad...But, we still loved our stay! I will definately stay again!...
