We spent six nights at Adobe & Pines and loved every aspect of our visit. Chris is a wonderful host, always willing to give insightful suggestions. She is very friendly, warm and genuine and her staff are equally kind and helpful. The grounds a truly wonderful and the rooms are warm, cozy and richly decorated. From the nightly cookies and... We stayed in Violeta, which had a very comfy queen bed, jet tub, shower, kiva fireplace with unlimited wood supply, private patio, fridge, microwave...Property has a stream, lots of greenery, chickens and goats too! There is also many common outdoor areas with patio furniture and fire-pits. Chris was an awesome host - greets with hot homemade cider and cookies. Breakfast... More

My wife, a friend my dog and myself stayed here four nights in late October. While Taos itself is not all that enchanting o me, this BnB was and whenever we were there, Taos as a destination also seemed very enchanting. We are already planning to return next year, and will hopefully uncover more enchanting elements of the area as... More

Had a wonderful stay here and wished it could have been longer. The rooms at Adobe and Pines are fantastic and unique from one another. The attention to detail everywhere is truly remarkable and the service outstanding. Christine was great and even answered when we had to call her at 11PM for an unanticipated situation. When we had an issue... More

This place gets a lot of good reviews. Perhaps we are too fussy in our expectations, but there are a couple of reasons we are unlikely to go back. First this is not a cheap hotel. We spent over $700 for three nights, and in that price range we have the expectation that the bed will be in good shape... More

Thanks for taking the time to provide such a thoughtful review. Very sorry we did not meet your expectations. We try to post photos and descriptions of all the rooms so that you can see the more authentic southwestern décor and amenities of the 1830 adobe style rooms versus the more modern rooms, such as Puerta Cobre and Roja which... Wow! If you've never had a reason to visit Taos, you do now, Adobe and Pines. Located just off the main road, with a short drop down drive, and you feel like you are in a secluded timeless world. Thanks Jazmon for the thoughtful review and mention of all that you enjoyed during your stay! Returning after several years to this really beautiful B&B. The owner Chris was terrific. Friendly and very helpful. All her staff were great! Our room was well appointed, very comfortable and beautiful. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Far enough outside the city to be peaceful but close enough to be convenient to the city center.
