We chose this property for its location in the mountains near enough to a town with many choices for dining and close to outdoor possibilities. The cabins, some of which have small kitchens, are cozy and beautifully maintained. The owners are considerate and very helpful. Silver City is only 7 miles down the road with some truly good restaurants and...

We spent one night in Cabin #6. The cabin was very clean, well-decorated and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the Gila Cliff Dwellings and for being close enough to Silver City. We loved seeing all the woodpeckers outside our balcony. We will definitely return!

We met my inlaws here, they got one cabin and our family of 4 stayed in a different cabin. We were able to bring our dogs and they had their cat with them. It was a little crowded when we all gathered together in one cabin but there was a nice patio area that made it easier. We stayed here...

My friend and I took a road trip across New Mexico and opted to stay here rather than in Silver City because it's closer to the Gila Cliff Dwellings. We are so glad we did. The property is gorgeous and tranquil. The cabin itself was clean and so comfortable. Everything we could have wanted was there, including dishes and salt...

We stayed in the Bear Creek Cabins for our Valentine's weekend celebration. The settting is just beautiful, the cabin authentic, and the staff the nicest you will encounter. The location is only 1/4 of a mile from the Continential Divide hiking trail and a 1/4 mile in the other direction you are at the old Buckhorn Saloon and Opera house....

I love Bear Creek. We opted for the treehouse: a tree grew up threw the condo's multi-tiered balcony. Great condo with beautiful bedrooms; the master bedroom provided a private deck. The condo was tastefully designed, lots of wood, and just plain cozy. I loved our time here, we were nestled into the woods and on the third floor, we were...

We visited my son in Silver City in July and stayed at this lovely hideaway in the nearby mountains. The cabins are all unique and charming. We stayed 2 nights, although we would have loved to stay longer, and the cabin was fully equipped and comfortable.

We are not high rollers, trying to keep our stays to around $100.00 per night. The cabins are new, charming and clean. When we were there it was perfectly quiet. Bird feeders on the porches, deer wandering by in the morning. All of that and a truly great fireplace. In addition, it is close enough to Silver City so that...

Romantic and family friendly. The place was beautiful nestled in the pine trees. The cabin was two stories with private balcony. Lots of walking trails near by and located in the little historic town Pinos Altos, so cute and quaint. Wonderful experience and we will definitely go back!

I've lodged here many times when in the Silver City/ Gila Nat'l Forest vicinity. It beats staying at a chain hotel any day! The cabins are CLEAN, spacious and well-equipped. Most have kitchens and all you need to bring is your own food, as nice, quality implements are stocked in the cupboards. I do recommend bringing a cooler of food...
