A girls weekend for our group of 12 was a beautiful and relaxing event. We had the two large houses for our group and this worked out beautifully. We really liked having the kitchen areas and purchased groceries in Alamosa on our way there. We ate at the restaurant three times during our four days and the food was always...

My friend and I each had a room at the historic hotel, Beds comfortable and clean. Half bath but showers available in the main part of the spa. Loved looking at the stars while in the pools. We both had great meals at the restaurant. I've been here several times but never stayed over. Will be coming again soon.

After a visit to Ojo Caliente with a friend from Santa Fe a few years ago, I spent two days and nights at Ojo in October. I stayed in the historic hotel...without a phone or television but engrossed in the quiet of the location? Pure delight. My room reminded me of the Copper Queen Hotel in Bisbee, AZ....fraught with history...

If you are looking for a place to soak in a few hot springs, you'll find it here. Keep in mind, the entire grounds is a "whisper zone" which means, basically, no talking. This is a challenge if you're there on, say, a girls getaway trip where you want to talk and laugh while soaking in a pool. However, if...

We have visited Ojo Caliente's relaxing mineral springs several times before. After a busy month, we were looking to visit the Taos area for the weekend. We researched hotels and found that 4 or 5 stars were non-existent or sold-out. Further research uncovered that Ojo Caliente's newly improved RV park was open year round. The weekend weather forecast was for...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hour visit. Had a chance to explore all the different pools and mud bath. I wish we had more time to lounge around in the hammocks! The steam rooms and indoor lounging areas looked interesting but we didn't check them out.
