The best weekend of the summer! Larry is a first class businessman and wants nothing more than his guests to be happy! Accommodations were perfect-simple, yet very comfortable. The room had more than we needed... refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, utensils and dishes. We didn't plan to cook a thing. Their meals were delicious and the service was excellent! Our fishing...

Stayed 5 nights at the Soaring Eagle Lodge in late June-early July 2016 and already planning my next trip! Larry and his staff are very accommodating! The food prepared by Chef Michael was delicious! The cabins which are located a few steps from the San Juan River are clean, comfortable, and have amazing views! The fishing guides provided by Larry...

Our family of 6 decided on the Soaring Eagle for the 4th of July. My father had been here many times for fly fishing, but decided to bring the whole family along this time. We had three of the river front rooms, which had a patio with tables and chairs. The cabins back up to the river and you can...

We hold a small get away here event every year. It never disappoints. Larry and Susan are great hosts. They take care of all of our needs and always organized. The food is superb. Jeff Massey and Jeremy Nolan have been our guides for the last 2 years. They are excellent guides and very professional. I recommend Soaring Eagle to...

In addition to the world renowned San Juan fishing, Soaring Eagle provides an all inclusive package for the avid fisherman making this a MUST DO location. From the friendly...

I'd call the cabins "rustic". They have everything you need, in a perfect setting. You can walk out your back door and fish on the river, or better yet, hire a guide from the on site fly shop and do a day long float trip down the river. They'll pack a lunch, some beers, and all the gear you need...

It was like night and day different with Soaring Eagle definitely the better value. Larry is an awesome host.. he has a great location and great lodge - so beautiful, and a...

Absolutely the best flyfishing trip I've experienced. Begin your day with a hearty made to order breakfast by Chef Michael or Chef James. Wade or drift down the San Juan River with a professional guide. The water below the dam where I fished was completely unaffected by the gold mine sludge. Beautiful clear water and lots of eager fish. Jeff...

This is a great fishing lodge, but not for non fishers in my opinion as there would be little to do other than fish. However being right on the San Juan river makes it a very special place with very good food, big cabins, and super friendly staff. Thanks Larry and all your staff, I really do hope we will...
