The staff was nice and helpful. When ask for food recommendations, they didn't hesitate. Although the clerk did say to get directions from Google because his directions would only get us lost. The hotel was clean and quiet. A normal buffet breakfast was served.

My husband and I drove from the ocean to Lordsburg, New Mexico on our road trip home in January. Lordsburg is truly in the middle of nowhere, but the Comfort Inn was one of the best and cleanest motels we stayed in 4800 miles of driving. Not only was it clean, the king size bed very comfortable, but it had a real hot breakfast, with bacon and sausage and waffles. I would absolutely recommend it.

I hate to write anything negative about this place because other than this one problem, it was a perfectly fine place to stay. Comfortable, clean, certainly not deluxe, but adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had already moved in and been relaxing in the room when at bedtime I went to brush my teeth. This was the first time I had run water in the sink. The stench from the sink nearly knocked me over. It was a really foul smell, like a sewer backup coming right out of the sink drain.
For the rest of our stay (which was just until we checked out in the morning) I took a deep breath of air outside the bathroom before entering and turning on the water, and left the bathroom for each breath I needed to take. There was no problem using the toilet.
I was afraid to try to take a shower because I worried that the same gross smell might come out of that drain too.

In fairness to the hotel, I am sure that if we had been willing to pack up our stuff and move to another room, the front desk agent would have been more than happy to move us, since he was very accommodating. But we were just too tired from driving all day and couldn’t face the hassle of re-locating.
So my advice is to run some water in the sink before you unpack your stuff. Maybe this was just a problem with this one room. The (Room 102) For star rating, I kept it at average. But if I went by just my experience of this one room, on this one night, it would have been lower.

We reserved a room a few weeks in advance. When we arrived, we were told that the room type we had reserved (king) was not available. Only one accessible king room was available, and they wanted to "save" that room. So we were placed in a double queen room which did not have the large sofa and coffee table sitting area that was shown in the pics of the room we reserved. Instead, we had a single chair shoved into a corner. They did not offer any discount for the fact that they did not have the room we had reserved well in advance. The entire point of making a reservation is to get the room type you wanted, in our case a king with sofa sitting area. This reservation was not honored.

They also end breakfast early at 9am. Many hotels and restaurants serve breakfast until at least 10am. It seems cheap to end breakfast early, they just want to save a few bucks by not serving late risers, I guess. The eggs were so dry as to be literally in crumbles and there was only stale white bread for toast (no whole wheat) but otherwise the breakfast choices were good, the usual standard for this type hotel: bacon and sausage, yogurt, danishes, waffles etc.

On the plus side, the property seemed very clean and the beds were comfortable. The amenities seemed nice. We didn't use them, but there was a pool and hot tub, and a guest laundry. Only one working ice machine on the property that we could find. One on the third floor didn't work. None on the second floor. First floor ice worked.

This is a modern Comfort Inn, clean and comfortable with friendly employees. Lobby simplistic but welcoming. WIFI worked well. Reaching TP holder is awkward but otherwise both bath and bedroom nice size, good shower pressure. As expected breakfast was limited but adequate with egg-sausage biscuits, sweet rolls and juice. Only disappointment was coffee. Rather than brewed in pots they have a machine with selections. Unless you read small print off to side, wait for delayed completion you'll get just 1/3 of a cup of very strong roast. Not the best option when you have others in line and machine controls timing. I made 2 attempts and ended up pitching both. Better to make coffee in your room.

The Inn was near the interstate but a room away from the highway helped reduce the noise. The beds were ok, and the hot breakfast was good....eggs, bacon and all the other normal items. The front desk man was very accommodating. The price was moderate and fair, if you planned ahead and booked. Plenty of parking.

The rooms here are large, well appointed, like new and very clean. If you need to stay in the area this is the place. Checkin and checkout are very COVID-19 friendly. There is a limited breakfast in the morning with grab and go items as well as coffee and juices.

My sister and I met up at this motel and stayed two nights. The rooms were sparkling, the beds the most comfortable we have ever slept in - we bought two of their pillows! Anessa, the innkeeper was so welcoming and helpful, an absolute jewel, and Gilbert, the groundskeeper and maintenance man was exceptionally helpful and just very nice. A lovely place to stay!

The hotel was ok. The rooms were a bit dated. I think what turned me off the most was that the carpet was worn out near the door from a dog pawing too much at the door to go out. That was a bit unsightly. Perhaps it’s time to install laminate flooring? Also, perhaps hotel chains should only rent rooms that have been previously occupied by patrons with pets to other patrons with pets? The non-pet owners should get the nicest rooms that don’t have worn out carpet, etc.! Breakfast was ok and had all the typical offerings.

This is a great hotel. New, clean, safe, and comfortable with an excellent mom-pop restaurant (Kranberry's) nearby. I especially appreciated this nice hotel because of the vast remoteness of the expansive desert in all directions. There is some very slight interstate truck tire whine noise that might be noticeable, so if that is bothersome to light sleepers ask for a room farthest from the interstate and maybe on the west side might help, but is really not an issue. I did not notice any train noise though. What is an issue is being forced fed the Clinton News Network at breakfast. I asked the server to change to a weather channel and he said he can't change from the "news" per hotel policy. CNN is a news station? LOL.

Room Tip: Some very minor semi-truck tire whine noise for rooms nearest the interstate on the ast side.
