Not too many choices in Hillsboro, a B&B ($90), community camping (long drop, water) and the Barbershop Plaza Motel. The Motel room was very clean with a full kitchenette, two chairs and table (no micro wave) but every thing else. Next to the kitchenette is a seating area (small living room) good place to read and chill out (no TV)....

This is a small motel right in town with 7 rooms. It was a mixture. The bed and bathroom were clean. The upholstered chairs were not. Some things like the bathroom vanity and wall decorations were colorful, creative and whimsical. Some furniture was old and dated. But overall I liked it. The town is quiet and so was the motel...

Hillsboro, NM. Can't say enough about this town, and how full of themselves they are. It's a backwater town at the edge of the Gila. I stayed at their Barbershop hotel, terrible place. No wi-fi, no cell phone service in the town, no telephones in the rooms, the cable was out, and the restaurant was closed - this was on...
