I stay here about twice a year, either for family travel or work. Every time, it's great. I really like the owner, who is very welcoming and kind. Rooms are small, clean, and there's wifi. The best part, though, is that the motel is along Whitewater Creek--so the birdsong in the morning and evening is wonderful.

After a very stressful week of relocating to El Paso my husband and I decided to take the weekend to have some fun. We happened on this gem thanks to TA. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Room is VERY clean and comfortable free WiFi and Dish TV. Lovely soap in bathroom great shower (no tub) towels were soft! The...

We were in Glenwood, NM last weekend and our friend Bucky had a birthday bash which was so much fun. If you have never attended one of these, I recommend you do. He is the commissioner and the party is for the entire town. Wonderful food and awesome country music!!! Proceeds went to help the town's pavilion. He recommended this...

The title to this review basically sums it up. We really enjoyed our stay. What a neat place! Since we always bring whatever we might need on a trip, we did not miss any shampoo bottles or the like. We had a wonderful evening just sitting outside on the chairs so nicely provided, just enjoying to be away from all...

I've been going to this hotel since I was a kid and now my wife and I try to go once a year. The people who own the place are so nice and the town is the perfect getaway. The only problem with the place is it's booked all the time because everyone else loves it too.

We stay here once a year and I'm still trying to find a room with a firm mattress. The rooms are rustic, but the showers are fantastic with strong water pressure! You do need to be on the self-sufficient side and bring your own shampoo and hair dryer. I also bring a small travel hot water pot to make coffee...

I love the Whitewater, and Glenwood in general. It is a quaint motel on the edge of town that is quiet and clean. The owners are super hospitable and will go the extra mile for you. The showers are cozy but the showerheads/pressure is amazing. Dish TV and free wifi. Beds are soft and clean, extra pillows and blankets are...

Our family stayed at the Whitewater Motel on a recent trip. We found it to be very clean, quiet and an all around rustic atmosphere. Glenwood, NM is a charming little town that is a fantastic place to get away from it all. From walking around and getting lost in the woodsy settings to hiking the Catwalk up the road...

I spent two nights here during a two week backpacking trip through the Gila Wilderness; one in the middle (as my resupply point) and then at the end. (Of course, at that point, any room with running water, a bed, A/C, and a shower would have been great!!) I loved the inn because of its price, simplicity, and owner. The...

My wife, two daughters (12 and 14) and I stayed one night here. The lady who checked us in (owner) was nice and helpful. It was like stepping back in time, as she filled out a paper slip with our info on it. She was very nervous due to the pending rain/monsoon season and flooding and mudslides that would occur...

“Good beds, lots of windows and deer to greet you in the morning”

“Stay here, this is a place, you will not find anywhere else. It is historic old, has not the standart of today, but it is very clean, very friendly and in a very beautiful area. Don´t forget, to bring what ever you need. There is no Grocery store or Gas Station. We got a good breakfast in Alma Store Gas Station, a kind of trading post just north of Glenwood. And we had a very good pizza at Mario´s in Town the night before. WE WILL BE BACK!”

“If you get a chance to see this area, plan to tay there for one or two days. There is no grocery store or gas station, so you should bring, what ever you need. We got a sixt pack from a nice local guy, who we met on the street. He told us, to come to his house an gave us some beer. It was great to sit outside in front of the Motel Room an enjoying the beer, watching the wild deer, the sars and the silence. The area around is very beautiful.”

“Room 15 is on the end and feels very private. The double bed seemed small, but we are used to sleeping in a queen size bed.”
