Me and my husband really enjoyed staying at the Pousada! What a lovely place! Fantastic view! This Pousada is so well taken care. So cozy. Rodrigo and Felipe are doing all possible to make you feel at home: extremely attentive to the details, very pleasant, educated, kind people. Cleaning service works excellent. Freshly made, all natural, yummy food! And also, THE most PetFriendly pousada I've ever visited. My dogs were treated like part of the family :) Absolutely loved staying at Refugio das Aves! Planning to go back soon and bring friends and family. Highly recommend !!! P.S..In this times of Covid19, Felipe and Rodrigo are providing guests with all necessary hygiene instructions and equipment (alcohol-gel, masks (if needed). This is the second time we have stayed there and we really enjoyed it! Rodrigo and Felipe know how to please guests, from small details, such as the heated bed (in winter it makes all the difference), the amenities in the bathroom, to that delicious conversation. The rooms are cozy, impeccably clean and the food is wonderful! The breakfast is unbeatable! Anyway, I recommend it with my eyes closed! I will definitely be back!

The stay was great! The breakfast is excellent and they are super pet friendly. Excellent and cozy bed and pillows! Bathroom with great shower! There was a cushion on one of the armchairs that seemed to have a bit of mold on it, which gave the armchair a bit of a smell. A part of the access to the inn has a VERY uneven dirt floor and is difficult to drive on, you need to take it very slowly!
