We stayed in the simplest accommodation at the inn and yet the luxury suite is very pleasant and has all the comforts of the other accommodations (it's just smaller). And it's next to the dining room. For people with mobility difficulties, it is perfect. The service of the employees. The shuttle service, which allows us to enjoy the "highest inn" in the region, without worrying about getting there. Complimentary dinner. Accommodation cleaning service. Electric kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The stunning view of the entire Visconde de Mauá region
Just as a suggestion: Leave some snacks in the minibar (potato chips, toast, sweet biscuits, etc.) to be enjoyed in the afternoon. Make the gazebo area a covered space with more comfort (like a "lounge") so that contemplating the view is more pleasurable.

I stayed in Visconde de Mauá with my boyfriend for 2 nights and I would definitely like to stay longer! The guesthouse is not possible to reach by car, but since the reservation the staff of the guesthouse already warns and provides a 4x4 24h, so it was no problem, and when going up, the view is wonderful. The room is very cozy, with a hydromassage with window for every landscape. The guesthouse includes breakfast and dinner that are exceptional, a super complete breakfast with fruit salad, natural juice, coffee and milk, various breads, cake or pie, eggs and cheeses and everything very tasty. Dinner follows the same line of being very tasty and complete with entry, main dish and dessert! In addition to all structure, there is the team (Juliano and Seu Gomes) who are always available and are very friendly, give tips about waterfalls and restaurants! Finally, the experience was wonderful, the guesthouse is beautiful, clean, very well taken care of and provides us with an unexplained view. Congratulations to the entire team, I love the success and it is definitely a place to return!

Beautiful guesthouse, with a wonderful view, ideal for couples who want to rest and spend time as a couple. Access is difficult, but is resolved by the inn with a 4x4 car transfer, where you leave your car in a parking lot on the simplest part of the route. Very worth the visit.

We spent the turn of the year in the hostel and we are delighted with everything, from the wonderful reception of Marcio as to the other details of the hostel and restaurant. The view is undoubtedly the most beautiful and exclusive in the region, the breakfast with various options and all delicious. Rooms well equipped with hot tub, fireplace, hairdryer, wardrobe, amenities, frigobar, mattress heater. And the dinner was a surprise apart, with inlet, dish and dessert. We had a great stay!

Unquestionably, the best view from Maromba to Serra da Mantiqueira!! I've been to several inns in the region and this one, being at one of the highest points, provides a beautiful panoramic view!! My wife and I were very happy to have this privilege! I loved the breakfast ☕, but the "complimentary" dinner, despite being very well prepared and tasty every day, could have had another menu option. Very kind and helpful staff! We will definitely be back!

What a wonder! Everything impeccable, from the service, the chalet, the view. What an amazing place!!! I didn't even want to go back to reality. Spectacular breakfast, lovely candlestick dinner. The extremely cordial and polite professionals.

The place was amazing and the chalets are comfortable and pretty. Yet, the quality of the construction is not good and there are ants, spiders and other insects inside. Apart from that, the food they gave us for dinner was really bad, a frozen pizza base with cheap cheese and carrott soup.

This is really the best place to stay in the entire region! Although is far from town, the distance is easily justified by the outstanding view and the peaceful place, giving you a completely different experience and a close encounter with nature.
The prices are quite good, specially if you consider that they provide dinner (and a very tasty one).
For sure we are coming back for another weekend.
Congratulations!

Swallows acrobatically hurtle close around the chalet as you take in the spectacular view towards Minas across the distant hilly landscape. 4x4 transfer from the parking area generally works OK, albeit with a short wait sometimes. The hosts are delightful and there is a sense they want to make you as happy & comfortable as possible. The cabins are well laid out and even if it wasn't really cold enough, you've got to use the fireplace at night to complete the romance of this moutaintop retreat. The included evening meal (useful given its location) is simple & tasty, but option free. Best to have a good lunch out after a daytime hike.

Hi dear! I know the date mentioned has passed, but you would pay around R $ 500.00 per couple, or R $ 500.00 for each two people. I believe all the cottages are for two guests. The place is fantastic, worth knowing.
There are more places to choose from in the Visconde de Maua area.
