I took the horse ride with Afonso and it was incredible. First time I rode a horse, and it was very peaceful. The horses are well looked after, Afonso is very patient, doesn't rush you into anything, is very friendly, attentive and takes great photos.

A lovely, fantastic place. Very quiet, not so far de Maringá (the biggest village in the area). Horses, cows, birds, and a private river... the site is really special.
The acomodation is great too, best breakfast ever encountered, the chalés are spacious and comfortable, just keep in mind that the way to warm up your room is doing a chimney fire !
All the staff is very welcoming too.

It was a perfect weeked with my husband, it was everything perfect!! The place is very quiet, and clean, and the breakfast it was a brunch. The owner, Marcelo, he is very helpfull, the sauna is great!!

On an old farm there are about 10 cabins set up on the edge of a small river. Very tranquil surroundings. They also keep a lot of animals and one can go horseback riding (which we did, and was quite nice). The presence of the animals makes it a nice place for families with small kids. And their presence takes away quite a bit from the tranquility of the place. Breakfast was god, with quite some choices. Dinner is served, but you can choose either from pizzas or soups. Freshly made, but expect to be served slowly.

There is a lot to do if you have the kids. Horse back ridding, tree house, creek for swimming, milking cow. The works! Very friendly ambience. The rooms are small but cozy and most cottages are in doubles so privacy might be an issue. The late night fresh soup is a plus and beautiful surroundings of ing mountains give Fazendas Rio das Pedras a wonderful feeling.

A estrada é de terra batida, o que não prejudica o deslocamento. Cheguei tarde da noite e mesmo assim não tive problemas. Além disso fui varias vezes à cidade e, durante o dia, percebi que não é uma via esburacada, é de pedrinhas e terra batida. Pode ir sem problemas. Abs
