The Passaredo Gardens guesthouse is the perfect place for a celebration for two or a romantic weekend. There are 7 chalets with plenty of privacy, super well equipped and surrounded by a landscape made with great care, all thought of in the smallest details, with beautiful gardens full of bromelias. Couple hot tub, fireplace, green view, noise of water... an invitation to days of relaxation and peace. The towels, sheets and pillows are of very high quality. The breakfast is full and delicious and is served until 12:00 with options such as: yogurt made in the guesthouse, as well as the cheese bread, pancakes, eggs, cake, cookies and fruits. The owners of the guesthouse are super friendly and received us very well, making us feel at home. We intend to return as soon as we can!

The guesthouse is fantastic, with incredible landscaping designed by the brothers Marcelo and Cândido, who, in addition to having excellent taste, are very good people, making us feel at home, as if we were visiting a friend. You can listen to jazz in the room, with a vast and careful selection of hits.
Delicious breakfast, well prepared and served by Dona Nice, with everything fresh and of high quality.
Our chalet is the waters, which has a natural water source that supplies the pool. Extremely refreshing. A charm. Just ahead is the gastronomic mall, so just leave your car in the parking lot and walk to the restaurant.
The region has many tourist options, such as trails and waterfalls. The exuberant nature, the simplicity and friendliness of the people are charming.

Staying at Jardins do Passaredo was always a goal, but with children, we hadn't gone yet. We managed a weekend just for the couple and had an excellent experience. The inn was more than we thought!! All wonderful! Super comfortable chalet, garden that doesn't make you want to stop looking and a breakfast that doesn't need comments because it's so good 😌

Very charming hostel with a unique architecture. Rooms are impeccable, cleanliness, beauty, care and a lot of sophistication Every corner is very special. In 1 year we stayed 4 times in this hostel and August we will return. We always switch the room to get to know and have different experience but by choice. Very tasty breakfast. Owners are very attentive and leave us at home. We love this place.

the place is very well cared. we stayed at chalet "águas". the there is a natural water fountain that goes to a natural pool: amazing. the jazz selection they provide for each room is wonderful. marcelo, one of the owners, received us and did so in a very pleasant way. the landscape and the nature, very well crafted by them, make this a unique place to rest and have some romantic time. we surely will be back!

We stayed here a couple of nights, Sept. 2015. We had a great cabana with doors that opened up to the outside garden and water feature. It is well-set in the walkable mountain town, with plenty of land and buffer from the road. Breakfasts were sumptuous, with loads of great fruit and breads, in addition to other items. There is a small pool and sauna. They were hands-off, which made us feel like we had the run of the garden. No English is spoken here. Maybe other towns are better for hiking into the Itatiaia National Park, but Visconde de Maua is a quaint, very off the beaten path mountain town.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The chalet was roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The grounds are beautiful. The location, in this small mountain town, is excellent and convenient for exploring the town and the area. The proprietors, Marcelo and Mary Anne, are just lovely. They were gracious and helpful and always made us feel welcome.

"The breakfast is delicious but there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner. This is not a problem though, because we spent most of the day doing outdoor activities and had lunch elsewhere. For dinner, the hotel is at walking distance of the city center, which small but has several possibilities for dinner and drinking."
