We booked the Monte Vista suite for a few nights and it was spectacular. The owners were extremely accommodating and very thoughtful about every little detail. The suite includes an in-room hot tub and a spa/shower, which were extremely welcome after long days of skiing. The inn is in a very convenient location, just outside of the Taos ski valley,...

We went to the Cottonwood Inn the last week of January, 2014 and stayed in the Mesa Vista Suite. This may have been our most wonderful vacation stay ever. The scenery was gorgeous! It has a great mountain view off of the front porch. There are two decks, one of which has a nice, deep, two person hot tub. The...

My husband and I got engaged at the Cottonwood in 2012, so we were heartbroken when we read somewhere that the inn was closing. Luckily, we called and spoke with Shantal in October, and she told us about their changes. We just got back from a 4 day stay in the El Patio and couldn't be happier with the “new”...

We stayed for 3 nights right after Thanksgiving. This was our third stay at the Cottonwood, the first in their new layout. While we did miss Shantal's breakfasts, we were thrilled with the space and the many comforts of our suite. There were 4 of us, and we stayed in the Mesa Vista. What's not to love? We had TWO...

This was our first stay at the Cottonwood Inn. We called to book, not realizing that the owner had changed the set up of the inn and was only taking repeat guests. Based on our mutual love of animals Shantal and I really hit it off over the phone and she ended up taking our booking anyway. And boy are...

My husband and I stayed in the El Patio room for four nights last month. We loved the room! It was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The fireplace and the hot tub are nice additions, especially since we had such cool nights. And I absolutely loved Shantal's homemade bath products! She and Brantley are super nice and...

This bed n breakfast is a wonderful place. It is peaceful, clean, quiet, comfortable, and very relaxing. I cannot help but be grateful for such cleanliness and attention to detail. Everything was immaculate and clean. Not a cobweb to be found. It is obvious the owners are very thorough and conscientous about the presentation of their rooms. In addition, the...

My partner and I stayed in the Mirador Room for three nights in mid-October. We had never been to Taos before, and this B&B captured both the ambiance and the friendliness of that area of NM. The owners are both exceptional cooks, who provide breakfasts that are superb. The inn was very clean and well appointed. The menagerie of animals...

We were fortunate to be able to stay three nights in September 2013 in the Southwest Room at this lovely B&B, on the way to the Taos ski area from town. We were greeted by friendly chickens and ducks, an affectionate turkey, and a sweet little dog. We were befriended by our wonderful, tireless hostess, Shantal, and had a lovely...
