Decided to “upgrade” from Days Inn due to a poor hotel experience along our route heading east across AZ, NM, TX, and opted for La Quinta. The first room I was given smelled of dog or cats so I asked for a different room. I was given a room that smelled better but when I wanted to do some stretching after a long travel day, I noticed dog hair in the rug. It was too late to repack and I was too tired to complain. Also some of the pillows were yellow with gross sweat stains. It’s obvious that the Wyndham standards are not adhered to on this hotel. Hotels need to do a few things: have all rooms inspected, especially after pets leave because this is nasty. (Having a no pet policy would be better.) Then reinforce the cleanliness and cleaning requirements with the staff because this place is below expectations. I might be finished with Wyndham unless I can find an actual Wyndham Hotel.…

Newer hotel and the king bed was sooo comfortable. Nice room and coffee in the room was good. We stayed at Extended stay America in ABQ and this hotel was 80 percent better so we were grateful. I did not see the breakfast.

Staff is great. Big units. However the bed had black hairs inside the sheets. Not changed at all. Ugh!!! The toilet water runs 24/7. The vibrations from the air conditioner effect the entire room. The couch and furniture are all stained. Ugh!!! The tv has bad reception as if I’m watching tv from the 60s. The closet door has no latch to close it so it opens on its own.

At a discount I was offered a suite and it was a very welcome option as it provided lots of space (which was very great having spent so many hours driving). The bathroom was massive. The bedroom was also extremely big and above all very quiet. This would be a 5-star review if not for the lack of water in the fitness room, towels for the pool and more choices at breakfast.

The bathroom was disgusting. Pink mildew, black mildew, soap scum, long hair in the tub/shower; blood on a wash cloth. Told the clerk at check out and she cut me off because she seemed like she didn't want to hear it. She only responded to the blood on the wash cloth and quickly went to retrieve it, like she was hiding evidence. Very unprofessional and unclean.

First room they gave us was dirty and the treadmill was broken. That's one of the reason why we chose La quinta, so my sister can exercise. Overall experience was just ok and I will stay somewhere else

Attended a racing event at Arroyo Seco raceway and decided to give this property a try. I'm glad I did as the price was right and the location was great. I could easily take I-10 East to the track, Akela Exit, or the frontage road for a more leisurely ride. Easy to locate restaurants in the general area and having a quick bite, included, in the morning was welcomed. This may well become my "go to" place when I overnight ion the Deming area I even trusted parking my motorcycle in the lot without any worry.

A hotel whose eventual demise is obvious. Deferred maintenance is quite evident. Bathtub looked dirty. Ice machine on 2nd and 3rd floor are broken. I wonder what they’ll do when the first floor machine gives up the ghost? Breakfast was really lame. Frosted flakes Rice Krispies warm milk toast English muffins and waffles. A jar of Walmart peanut butter….how unsanitary is that? Check out the Jerry rigged elevator button (see photo).

Loved the two artificial grass areas outside the main entrance for pet relief. Room very clean. Furniture somewhat aged and worn, but fully functional. Excellent location close to Interstate Exit. Check-in/Check-out very quick and friendly.
