Last minute reservation due to car problems. We arrived around 9:00 p.m. called after hour number. Found keys for one room vs 2 rooms we reserved. After searching for room in main area, called back and learned unit was about a block away on an alley. Finally found room around 10:00 p.m. Quaint but dusty, dead bugs on floor, bulb...

$145. Charged my credit card one day in advance. Why. Because this is $39 room. Had a room with NO WINDOWS. No AC. It was 90 outside when I checked in. The room was 80+. By midnight it had cooled down to 56 outside. Room was still 83. Should have known something was up when I walked in and there...

This hotel was wonderful. We enjoyed the rustic, antique feel. The clawed tub was super cool. We walked right over to the Western Bar and enjoyed some drinks and walked right back to the room when we were done. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return. This time with some friends.

We stayed here for three nights on a tour of New Mexico. Our room (room 1) is very spacious and has a great balcony overlooking the quiet main street. It is beautifully furnished and, like the rest of the hotel, displays a great deal of wood - this town is high up in the Lincoln National Forest, and the architecture...

when we checked in on jan 17, 2016 at first glance the antiques and super comfortable beds seemed great. within a minute or two though many problems made themselves apparent. there was a thick coat of dust on everything. on one dresser there was a lap top pad covered with a sticky, spilled substance along with just plain crud on...

We apologize if you didn't have a good experience. But we should clarify a few things. One the housekeeper who forgot the toilet paper is no longer working for us, so that problem was resolved. We do not have phones in the rooms, the antique phones are for decoration not for use obviously. The rooms are dusted daily as given...

The place has more of a boarding house feel than a hotel. The rooms were cozy, bedding was clean, and the bed was comfortable. A claw foot tub while pretty, are over rated if your not going to take a bath or are not used to using one. The shower curtains that enclose the tub made for a closterphobic experience....

We had no windows in our room, the town mostly closes down around 5pm which is fine but also not having a window or balcony or anything made us feel a bit claustrophobic in our room all evening. It was clean and nice though. Cute rustic feel. Claw foot tub, TV, coffee maker.

This place really has such potential. The room we stayed in has charm appeal. They've taken time to collect vintage items like claw tubs, old stoves, lovely quilts, lamps, and bureaus. The bed. Oh, the bed. My husband, who is a veteran and has slept in all kinds of places woke up this morning and said, "Well, at least we...

I was a little apprehensive after reading a few reviews and due to typically staying in chain hotels, but have to say that I really enjoyed my stay at the Cloudcroft Hotel! I was traveling with kids who thoroughly enjoyed the antique touches in the room. The hotel is above the gift shop. It is in the perfect location. There...
