My first stay at The Lodge a decade ago bordered on magnificent. Sadly, the same cannot be said now. We stayed here during a trip through eastern AZ and New Mexico, based on our previous experiences here. After this trip, I see no reason to...More

We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at this historic hotel end of May. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel is pet friendly. Upon check in we were given a pet bowl with doggy treats. Our room was a end location King...More

This historic hotel is charming. Anyone going through Cloudcroft should stop here and enjoy the dining experience and ambience. The lobby is large but also cozy with a great view to the pool. Our room was Victorian luxury. Beautiful king size bed with chandelier. Of...More

The lodge has some wonderful charm but has poor management. The hotel is not being taken care of and the staff needs training. The lobby has a wonderful fireplace and on a cold windy day I would have expected it to be lit and it...More

Not at all. The A/C is great and there are electrical outlets in more than one place in the room. It is an old hotel of course, built in 1899 but the plumbing and (thank God!) electrical systems are modern. We recharged... More

We stayed in a king room but it didn't have a view of much of anything except beautiful snow out the window. Really loved this place though. Lots of history and even a ghost. The room was adequate size too.
