Super fun place to stay. Victorian era décor with a staff to assist with any need. The beds are way comfy and the room was very quiet. Loved the fact that it is a dog friendly inn! Away from the town by less then a...More
Just a fantastic brunch in a great setting. Old "haunted" hotel with a beautiful view from the mountains overlooking White Sands National Monument. Has a chef that knows how to do a brunch. You cannot beat the value at about $25 including champagne.
Step into the past with Room decor that takes you back to the early 1900's ,but every modern day whim is taken care of. Staff and service are excellent and the hotel restaurant is truly 5 star quality. The view overlooking the white sands valley...More

Not at all. The A/C is great and there are electrical outlets in more than one place in the room. It is an old hotel of course, built in 1899 but the plumbing and (thank God!) electrical systems are modern. We recharged our iPad, phones, etc. with no trouble beyond having to unplug a lamp on one occasion. By "old" expect quaint, not antiquated!

We stayed in a king room but it didn't have a view of much of anything except beautiful snow out the window. Really loved this place though. Lots of history and even a ghost. The room was adequate size too.
