If I had a choice I would never book this. The location is ok and rooms are large but I found it unhygienic and also it is not well maintained. Needs lots of improvement to live up to standards. I recommend only for basic low budget travellers.

Stayed at Sinchula recently with a group. Its perfect for budget travellers, close to the border and walking distance to the Entry Permit office & many local eateries. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves good local food (and cheap alcohol.) Available at the hotel - Wifi, Restaurant, parking (if you are lucky), AC for hot summer days,...

This was the hotel that we stayed at the first night in Bhutan last week. Great hospitality and staffs were very helpful. Great food and as true to Bhutanese culture they were ever ready to serve us with a smile and went extra mile to serve us our demands. One of the best hotels to stay on a budget and...

Bhutan has plenty of dogs, all of them seem friendly until the night is upon you. Thankfully our room at hotel Sinchula was cozy and didn't let the incessant barking of the dogs disturb the sleep. Otherwise a decent looking hotel with prompt room service.

Rooms are quite big and spacious and quite cozy too. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, however the issue is that you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to your rooms and secondly there are no amenities in the rooms, which makes it difficult for us to have tea or coffee in the early mornings. And...

Room - As all the standard rooms were already occupied, we rented a deluxe non-AC room for 1400/-. The room was clean, spacious and hygienic. Though we felt it was a little pricey. Location - This hotel is conveniently located near Indo-Bhutan border, immigration office and bus station. It took us 5 minutes to walk upto here from immigration office...
