We stayed two night, the second night just because our ferry in Valona would leave the day after..The second night they had a private party at ground level,,they played music loudly until 3 in the morning! Noone could sleep in the hotel. Their breakfast is very poor: terrible coffee, no fresh fruit and you have to wait for them to...

There is minimal comforts here. The hot water took a very long time to arrive. The shower is European type, no curtain. The breakfast was very simple. Only a dry omelette but the coffee was good. Views are beautiful either front or back. Price was right and you walk right out into the best place to start to explore Berati...

The hotel is right in the spotlight. Close to everything in town. The rooms themselves are very spacious, but there is a problem in the flow of hot water (takes a long time). Breakfast is very poor. Would not go back to sleep there a second time.

Our room was big and that was the only positive thing about it. Very hard beds which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Holes in the floor were covered with dirty, stained carpet. Dirt everywhere. Very basic bathroom; no place to put our toilettries. The shower consisted of an extremely small basin with a hand shower, but no curtain or anything....

I arrived unplanned, no room booked. They were obviously not busy at this time of the year and allocated a room with a lovely view of the old hill town of Mangalem. The room was large, well furnished but the carpets were dirty. The restaurant meal was very unexciting and the breakfast boring. Staff were friendly though. The hotel is...

Stayed for only one night (thank goodness) in this hotel which is badly in need of a makeover. it dates from Communist times and looks as if nothing has been upgraded since then. Rooms are utilitarian, beds are hard and small, curtains need a clean, carpet stain did not help ambiance of room. There was hot water but it took...

We stayed here for one night at the end of October. It was cold in the evenings and morning but we were told there is no heating until mid November. Luckily they supplied extra blankets, but the rooms were still cold. It is a hotel from the communist area with big reception and restaurant, but it has seen better days....

We planned to stay at this hotel, based on an outdated Bradt Guide, from when it was one of the only games in town. We did not end up staying, because two different rooms we saw were in terrible condition, and the staff wasn't very friendly, either. The whole place has clearly seen better days, and I'm guessing that those...

Our rooms had great views, were clean and a good size. We had some chairs, a table, two wardrobes and a fairly big fridge with lots of space to put water in. As some of the reviews have noted, it is true that the mattresses are firm, but personally I did not have any problems sleeping. The breakfast was too...
