Only 100 m from where the Superdong ferry arrives from Phu Quoc island, in Rach Gia. The hotel sign points left, but it's quicker to enter from the road on the waterside. Reception is to the right of the building, upstairs on the second floor. Lovely staff, not much English spoken though. Rooms are huge!! About 5 sqm, with ceilings 4 m high and clean. One king size single bed and one queen size, both hard, not western style soft. Desk, wardrobe, table and chairs, teapot/cups, hot water in foyer, fridge/modest mini bar, toiletries, fan, air conditioning, cable tv with English channels, and complimentary water. Large bathroom with enclosed shower. FREE private car taxi service into town 4 times per day, whenever you need, they'll pick you up and take you back, as well and our driver always came in and gave instructions to the restaurant staff to call when we were ready to leave. They also drove us to the nearby airport with no charge. On the building's ground floor are shops and behind is a (mainly) fresh food market, which opens early morning for several hours. If you're a light sleeper perhaps don't stay on that side of the hotel...or near reception where guests coming and going can be quite noisy.

Where to eat? Breakfast, there are a few local stalls near the road and in the morning market. Or, for lunch/dinner ask the hotel taxi to take you to one of many lovely restaurants near the ocean around Tôn Đức Thắng road. Just beware, many look like restaurants, but in Vietnam, the word Cafe usually means only drinks are served.

For the money we (2 adults plus 1 child) paid for our 1 night stay at this hotel - I consider we had a high value for money stay. While room is basic and had considerable signs of wear and tear on the walls (scuff marks/chips out of wall, in need of a paint), the beds and bathroom were all very clear and sufficient for a brief stay. What is incredible value is the fact that they include a hotel shuttle/taxi voucher system with your stay meaning you can go out and about (up to 8 times per day) without it costing you extra. The staff were friendly, and had sufficient English knowledge for us to communicate comfortably with them (our Vietnamese not as good as their English!). They also gave us a mobile phone to borrow during our stay which we used to call back to the hotel manager after dinner when we needed to order hotel taxi to pick us up. For $18 all up this really was a high value stay and would suit anyone wanting to catch the ferry to Phu Quoc which is just across the road (2-3 minute walk) and be close to hotel. T

We only stayed 1 night to catch the ferry to Phu Quoc the next morning (30 second walk - just cross the street and you’re in the terminal). Arrived late but the receptionist was super nice explaining where we could get food, change money, buy ferry tickets. We ended up buying the tickets online and they printed them for us for free. They gave us a cell phone and instructions on how to reach them if lost, and that we should use their free taxi service when going out. In the morning we had breakfast in the market that takes place at the hotel exit.
Room extremely spacious and clean. This hotel exceeded all expectations!

Rach Gia is a small town on the west coast of Vietnam. It is the locals gateway to the Island Phu Quoc (which is about 3 hours by fast ferry). Most people fly directly to Phu Quoc from Saigon. Hence it doesn't get many foreign tourists. This mad Rach Gia very interesting. No english menus. Anyway we stayed at this hotel which is 50m from the boat terminal to Phu Quoc. As they are away from the town centre, they offer a free taxi service up to 8 times per room per day! The room was very clean, with very high ceilings. $15 per night. Incredible value. I would definitely stay in Rach Gia a bit more next time I visit. Phi Quoc isn't that great..

Nice hotel, really really friendly! Free taxi was almost like a private car (although you have to share sometimes), call and 5 minutes later it`s there. Especially easy for a woman travelling alone, very safe.
Downside of Rach Gia (the hotel can`t help it), is that the town is filled with small flies and your room will have a bunch of them as well.

If you are going to Phu Quoc by ferry then this is the hotel for you, we paid £7 for an enormous double room, overlooking the port, with a balcony and a private en suite bathroom. It had aircon that worked, a fridge, a small seating area with even a tea set and tea, toiletries, wonderful views and clean. Its quite a modern looking hotel but the rooms are fairly standard, although for the price they prove to be excellent value. Our room was at the front of the hotel and was bright as it had 2 large windows and a door leading onto a small balcony but it is nice a quiet as there is not much around it. The hotel even provides free transport to and from 4 restaurants in the town, we chose one of the cheaper ones (second from the bottom) and it was fantastic, all seafood and very cheap, full of friendly locals (we were the only westerners in the place).
I would recommend this hotel with no hesitation and is in walking distance of the ferry terminal.

Read good reviews and stoked to follow them. This place is open and airy with big, tiled rooms all in very clean, great condition. 100 m to the Ferry. Feels very luxurious after the trip from Saigon.
Rather than rush onto the Ferry I'm going to enjoy this hotel overnight.
Highly recommend.

I stayed 3 nights at this place, super location and exceptional service. I met the owner he has passion for servicing customers. They offer free taxi service unlimited to go for Resturant, bar ,shopping. If you calculate sometimes this more than price you pay for the hotel. They have free water, Vietnamese tea making facilities and an exercise equipment in the room.

The hotel just 2 minute walk from the ferry port, it is very convenient to go to the other island. All staff are very friendly and helpful to satisfy the customer needs.I highly recommend this place for anyone.
