This is a fairly small and compact resort with lush landscaping, a nice quiet pool and beach. Location is perfect with the main road just outside the resort having a ton of shops and restaurants. Due to the landscaping and being downhill from the road, you never heard any noise from the road and were in your own little oasis. Rooms were big, well stocked with amenities and nice things to have while on the resort. AC worked great and the bathrooms were updated and very nice. One oddity is not having a bathroom door, just a curtain makes it not very private. All of the staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious and had a giant spread of options. This is so much better than the generic mega resorts they are building all over this island. Definitely stay here and utilize the central location to explore the local shops and restaurants in the area as well as the night market which is only ~15 minute walk.…
Located in the center, 1km away from the night market Friendly & helpful staff Good breakfast Beautiful beach Cons: weird bathroom design without doors, flooding everywhere Feeling like home, We prefer this lil resort than other 5* luxury resorts in Phu Quoc.
I had a wonderful 3 night stay at L'azure resort in April 2022. Here is why I rated it 5 stars. Staff: 5 stars All staff that I have interacted with were very nice, polite and helpful. Upon checking in, Nha, a receptionists, has suggested me to relax and had lunch at the restaurant next to the lobby building while waiting for my room to be ready. Although the restaurant is a building right to the lobby, Nha still walked me to the restaurant and informed the staff there to take care of me. Nha also took information of my return flight and scheduled a free shuttle drive to the airport for me. The resort has about 10 units and few beach front villas. Each unit has 4 rooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. There was no elevator in each unit building so when my room was ready, Khoa, the bellboy rolled my bag from lobby to the room. Then he removed his shoes and asked for a permission to enter the room to show me how to use all the light switches. On the day I checked out, another bellboy (Nam) showed up 10 minutes before my scheduled drive and helped me with the luggage to the lobby. Both Khoa and Nam were very sweet and polite. One morning, when I just stepped down to the beach (in the back of the resort), a lifeguard named Khoul came out and put a long beach towel on my lounge chair and rolled another towel to make me a pillow for me. We had a nice chat. Room and facilities around: 5 stars My room had 2 twin beds with garden view. The room was big and very clean. There were free coffee and 2 bottles of water in the room. Water and coffee could be refilled at anytime day or night. There were also 2 nice bathrobes and 2 palm-leaf conical hat (Non La') in the room. Slippers and amenity kit were also provided. Each room in the resort had a tall wooden rack on the balcony for guests to hang wet clothes. One minus point from the room was lack of hooks/racks to hang towel for reusing them. There was a tinny set of 4 hooks in the shower that hardly held a bath towel and only a short bar rack on the back of the toilet glass door. The resort has one big swimming pool connected with 2 jacuzzi. I did not use the pool but I saw staff cleaning it everyday. There was one small gym with a treadmill, elliptical machines, few benches and dumbbells. The gym had AC but guests needed to turn it on when using the gym. The resort ground was covered with many green trees and bushes so be aware of mosquitos around. The beach in the back of the resort was very clean and water was warm and calm. During the day, I had the whole beach by myself since the local tourists only came to the beach either early in the morning or late afternoon when the sun was down. Breakfast buffet was served from 6:30AM - 10AM. There was a good selection of choices from Western to Asian dishes. I found it liked a brunch more than a breakfast since they served the whole deep fried fish, spaghetti, pasta, dimsum etc.. next to salad, fruits, breads, etc...Personally, I liked their Vietnamese and dimsum dishes than the Western ones. Location: 5 stars The resort is on a big street with many restaurants, coffee shops and massage parlors around. Everything is walking distance, very convenient and safe at night. From the resort, you can walk about 7 minutes to the night market. If you need a massage, I recommend the Candle spa, 4 minutes walk from the resort (see my review of the spa in Google for details). If you take taxi or Grab car from the airport to the resort, don't go with the address on Google, since the area was mixed between old and new addresses, very confusing. Just tell the driver that the resort is right at the Tran Hung Dao gate. All drivers will know it right away. Note, the resort did offer me a free ride from the airport to the resort but since I came from another hotel in town so I did not use this pick up. I only used the free drive from the resort to the airport. I had an amazing 3 night stay at L'azure resort. I would stay here longer if I had known how wonderful the staff and the place were in advance. If I ever come back to Phu Quoc, I definitely stay in this resort again. I highly recommend this resort.…
We travel in pandemic season and I got really good deal from Ms Hang ( Dos/SM) but the hotel service is over our expected, we checked in early around 12pm and the receptionist staff was very professional and supported us to get the room earlier. Warm welcoming by GM. Generally, Everything is good, good location, breakfast was so abundant, room is clean and spacious with nice beach view . I will come back here again with my family. Once again I would like to say big thanks from Ms. Hang for her suggestion and her support
We have visited quite a few hotels on the Island and we both agree that this is one of the best places to stay. The room is very nice, clean, new, well equppied beyond 4 stars standards. The whole resort is very well kept throughout even during the COVID where we see most hotels kinda slipped from their normal standards. Location wise it was really great. Close to city but not too busy, with long beach front where the guards stay on watch 24/7. Perfect for family with children. The breakfast was amazing. Food has great variety, good tastes and cooked fresh. The hotel also includes free pick up and drop off from airport (I am not sure whether this promotion will stay post COVID though) which is very convenient for first time travelers. But the best of all is the staff and GM, Mr. Mahesh who attentively greet every guests on check in and check out and walk through the property all the time to make sure everything is well maintained to high standards. We couldnt give more praise to this property. You wont be dissapoint!…
The staff were friendly and very helpful. One day I ate breakfast by myself and the staff inquired if I would like to take food back to my wife and 1 year-old son. Later in the morning while taking photos on the grounds, the owner inquired if she would like food brought to the room. Very exceptional customer service. The staff always made sure to say hello. Reserved the beachfront bungalow with private pool and the room looked exactly like the photos. Beautiful room with a lot of room and great views. Great location for a short walk to the night market.Unfortunately, many of the restaurants and cafes in the area were closed due to the current virus.
Nice place for watching sunset and very good location for accessing every places in Phu Quoc island. Their manager and staffs were so nice also. They treated you like family member. Even during covid season but they did the best for their customers and maintaining everything so well.
This resort exceeded our expectations! A peaceful little paradise with a private beach, lovely rooms, beautiful grounds, and a very welcoming and accommodating staff. The resort was just moving into full operation after COVID forced it's closure so there were a few things that weren't fully back to normal, but the staff and general manager worked overtime to see that our needs were met and that we had an excellent stay. There are several great restaurants within a short walk and a nice mini-mart across the street. I will definitely be back and have already recommended this resort to several friends.
Had a 3 day stay. The staff was very nice. Due to weak wifi they moved us to a different room and provided a roll bed at no costs. The Manager was very engaged on the daily operations and quite pleasant. The beach is nice but the water drops quickly and maybe not as safe as farther down the beach. The pool was fine but little shade while in the water until later in the afternoon. The breakfast was fine. There were a few places to eat, shop and massage within walking distance.
We stayed in l'azure resort 12 days in june 2020. The rooms where modern and spacious, the staff is super friendly. What is negative is that in june which is the low season, they do not have sunbeds at the the pool or any other bar in the hotel is open, the only thing that was open was the breakfast in the mornings. This was a big dissapointnent and what would have been nice, would be to be informed about a hotel with no pool service or bar available. However when we complained about it, the hotel was so kind to upgrade us to a villa on the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for the full resort experience I would choose a hotel that provide that. Lovely lush garden and beautiful surroundings
