We stayed in the shabby Mai Phuong hotel before checking into Huong Bien and we were pleased to be surrounded by some luxury! Lobby is very smart, staff in uniform and a huge marble (or whatever shiny stone it is made from!) staircase. We booked a Deluxe Seaview through agoda for $72 a night. But we arrived at the hotel... We were first picked up from the hotel which was good. When you first walk into the lobby it's actually quite nice and represents like a 4 star hotel. However, when you get into their lifts it is really POOR. the Lift is slow and he doors are very dangerous as my boyfriend's 82 yr old grandma nearly got squished... More

We were met at the Airport and taken to our Hotel. What a great start given our welcome drink and wet towel as with most places. Unfortunately we were not able to get into our rooms as they were not yet vacated. So we had to go and have a beer by the pool – which was the surprise as... More

We came there for 5 nights and I must say that the staff was very kind. Luckilly I spoke Vietnamese. If they understand what you need, they do all they can to help you. The beach is small and quiet, we found this ideal... nobody to disturb you. The facilities as scarce though. It was good enough for us. Rooms... More

Nice room, clean, good location. It wasn't noisy at all and we were on the ground floor. Staff at reception were helpful. The beach out the front is not very good, very narrow and the sun lounges are not very comfy. Overall, it was very good. We paid $49/night which was $1 less than what we were paying for a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are nice if you have the beach front (we stayed in the VIP suite), otherwise, the rooms have a back alley view (kids stayed in the superior room). Good breakfast complimentary - buffet Vietnamese style. Beach was very nice and pretty. Night life - Dinh Cau night market a few feet away from the... More

New hotel in the town area. The little beach in front is swimable at high tide but not your classic tourist white sand experience. The wifi connections were good and the room quite okay. Right outside the main gate is an evening market with fresh seafood and cold beer. You can watch the crab boats come in around sunset and... More
