If you are into wildlife and photography, Villa Socorro is the place to go. There are so many birds, many of them rare and unusual... like the jungle crow, the hawk, and the malkoas. As well as lots of bee eaters and kingfishers in the river. My client was able to snap a photo of this gorgeous bird one morning.......

Although the cell signal was difficult, we managed to arrive at the farm with Ryan welcoming us. He suggested a resto for dinner that was not too far away. The next day, after a leisurely walk to the river we had breakfast. Before we checked out, Ryan gave us a tour of their banana chip factory and their advocacy for...

For our 2-day Tour of Laguna, we purposely and collectively decided we will spend the night around the Pagsanjan, Cavinti and Lumban towns as we knew our first day will end in the area. During our research, there were loads of resorts in various forms, price points and value propositions. We zero-ed in on Villa Socorro and were very happy...

I called them up to ask if there is an available room and confirmed right away that we are booked the next day. Their place is easy to find, but it would be better if there will be some post at Pagsanjan area. Their coordinator Angelo was very accommodating as well as the other staff. We only ordered plated meal...

Went here with my balikbayan auntie and her three kids who are visiting the Philippines for the first time. The kids had so much fun, but let me tell you my thoughts about the farm: 1. Environment It is a typical family farm. While most local people like me will not be impressed by a typical farm place, foreigners and...

Booked in a duplex, a couple room and a room for my 3 children(kamatis and kalabasa rooms). Loved the privacy of our own unit, enclosed in an insect-repellant screen. The place is ideal for fun-time minus the e-gadgets. You get to pick ripe guavas outside your unit while playing catch, enjoy the sound of chirping birds when you get up,...

We visited Villa socorro to have some relaxation.... and the place solely explained why we chose to stay here the moment we arrived. Although we were not able to see the actual production of banana chips (the place is quite affected by recent typhoon), we are still happy to just roam around the farm. I suggest that if you really...

We are a family of four and enjoyed a weekend stay at Villa Socorro Farm Resort. The food is flavorful and they offer some unique dishes; the large servings is another plus. I have only seen a handful of staff but the Farm Resort is run very efficiently & the staff are very accommodating. My family & I had a...

I stayed in Manila for 5 days, due to short stay and hectic schedule, I booked a weekend for my family to this resort, because it's one of the few pet friendly resort close to Manila. We stayed on air conditioned room. Upon entry, I could smell the fresh and clean linens. Rooms are clean, including bathrooms. Food is fantastic,...

Villa Socorro is a nice place to stay in Pagsanjan. It would probably be better if you were a family and privately rented the place for an overnight stay and rented their other facilities such as videoke and billiards because if you didn't have those, it's quite boring. The chapel was nice and the grounds were nice and the dip...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Villa Socorro Agri-Eco Village and Farm Resort is your destination for an enriching experience with nature. Here, you wake up to the singing of the birds; take a morning walk to the Balanac river where we suggest you to just let go and take a dip. After which, what awaits you are meals made with fresh vegetables from the farm together with coconut straight from the tree. Such a wonderful escape from the very toxic concrete jungle of the city. ... more   less
