Our Standard, Superior and Penthouse Rooms are at our dive centre hotel, right in the centre of Tulamben. Our Beachfront Villa Suites are about 1km out of Tulamben and we provide free scooters or car shuttle to get you to our dive centre and/or local restaurants for meals - breakfast is served at the villas. We recommend the Beachfront Villa Suites for guests who like very quiet accommodation. Both locations are set in tropical gardens with sparkling pools, modern and very clean. All rooms have air conditioning & ceiling fans, hot/cold water, fridge / mini Bar, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with DVD player for playing DVDs (there is no TV program) Our room rates include full, cooked, breakfast - we even have vegemite! Tulamben is a small village, about 3.5 hours from the international airport and famous tourist destinations such as Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, and Ubud. The village is almost completely geared towards scuba diving - there is also some snorkeling.

The accommodation is brilliant, the staff are second to none and the diving is to die for, especially muck diving. Our guide Jaya taught me so much about photography, even without doing a photography course. He went out of his way to make sure that we had a great diving experience. A friend had recommended this and Tony the owner was great at coming back to me quickly via email. They arranged transport and we sorted out dive plan remote. All went to plan. The hotel is a dive hotel so in the main hotel the rooms are basic but clean and functional with good aircon. This is not a resort. The pool area is very nice two pools just needs a bit more shade. The key is the diving its right across the road for entry to the Liberty Wreck... Its a 5 min stroll. I would have to compliment our dive guide who was absolutely superb with my daughter on only her second dive trip. Dive site selection was excellent too. We throughly enjoyed our trip.

Stayed here for one night just so we could snorkel off the beach. The place was decent. It was about a 3-5 minute walk to get to the dive sites just off the beach. It has 2 pools with one being the training pool. Stayed at a standard room and it was sufficient. Bathroom doesn't feel clean but for one night it wasn't bad. I wouldn't have wanted to be there for much longer in that room. Lights were really dim. Didn't use their diving facilities so I can't comment on that.

We stayed here for the diving and had a great time. 1. The dive instructors were great and patient. I was the least experienced of the group and they made sure to have somebody by my side on every dive. We had some experienced divers as well and they did a great job of catering to all skill levels. 2. The scenery is beautiful. After diving we would sit by the pool, eat, have a bintang and watch the ocean. It was very tranquil and peaceful. 3. The service was great and went beyond the diving. They arranged for us to go see some of the nearby sites after we were done diving and helped with other transportation. 4. The people were just awesome. Great hotel, we would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to others.

We were recommended Tulamben Wreck Divers Hotel from our friends and loved our time there. I had only just done a refresher in my diving so I was still a bit nervous but Wayan our Dive Master was just excellent. He really helped me to calm down and was a great guide for our dives. I felt really comfortable with him and he helped me get in and out of the water as the rocky beach and the waves can be quite tricky. The hotel pools were excellent and the grounds beautifully kept. My only negative was the breakfast ...you had a very small menu to chose from and were only allowed one item for your omelette. For example, you could have EITHER bacon, sausage, cheese, tomato or onion but not all 4 which is really quite picky. This does need some improvement for sure but it is only a very minor aspect of an excellent place to stay and dive. An outstanding experience. A great variety of dives, and to dive the wreck was a whole new world for these. fairly inexperienced, divers. Our dive guide, Kadek, was terrific. The resort is well maintained and comfortable. Would advise scooter rental if staying at the Villas which are 1km from the Dive center. Also, the drive up to Tulamben is extraordinarily scenic with rice terraces , a monkey forest and villages well off the beaten tourist routes. Highly recommend.

We had a week with Tulamben Wreck Divers and dived for 5 days. We had a excellent dive guide dedicated to us for the whole week which was great. The accommodation was modern, comfortable and clean. The food was very tasty from the in-house restaurant. We look forward to returning soon.

Just returned home from our fourth stay with Tulamben Wreck Divers. We first stayed around 10 years ago and haven't been there for nearly 5 years. We stayed in the Villas - such a lovely, peaceful setting. Accommodation was great as usual. Facilities are good: WIFI, fridge + minibar, nice bathrooms, lots of space. TWD can even arrange meal delivery from the hotel restaurant to the Villas. We were lucky to stay in Villa 4 which has a beautiful view over the pool to the ocean. Very safe and secure with 24/7 security presence. If you are not confident to ride a scooter, I would suggest that it would be easier to stay at the main resort as it is a bit too far to walk into town from the Villas. Wayan and all the resort staff were super. Very keen to make sure we were happy and all our needs were met. We asked for a second scooter for transport between the villas and town which was arranged right away. Cheerful, friendly kitchen/cleaning/gardening staff at both the villas and the main resort. Diving was excellent, as we've come to expect. Lots to see and a lot of opportunities to travel to nearby sites. Night dives can be arranged easily, as well as nearby dives at Kubu and Amed. We used our own regs, masks, fins, boots, wetsuits and hired just BCs and weightbelts. The hire gear was in good condition. NITROX fills were good, with consistent O2 readings and tank fills between 190 and 210. We dived with dive guide Suka who was great, always helpful and friendly with a good eye for spotting interesting things underwater. Dive plans are flexible to allow for changes in conditions or grouping of guests. Payment and settling of our bill was easy and hassle free. There were no unexpected charges. Quoted prices are subject to a 20% sales tax. Unfortunately the exchange rate to from AUD to USD is not the best at the moment, but that can't be helped! Tulamben itself is a nice place to stay - lots of restaurant options catering for just about every taste and nationality possible. Local shops and a small supermarket. Locals are friendly and not hassling for sales. Would highly recommend Tulamben Wreck Divers, particularly the Villa accommodation.…

Just arrived home after 6 nights here. Hubby and I and 14yo, all diving. We did 12/13 dives each over 5 days. We got taken to a variety of sites, including Ahmed, Alam Anda and Kubu. Of course we dived the USAT Liberty multiple times. Wayan was a great dive guide - showed us a huge number of critters we never would have spotted on our own, organised our gear, and went out of his way to help us in and out over the big bouldery beach entry. The resort is lovely, with lush garden and two lovely pools. The food was great (kept our nonadventurous teenage boy happy as well as serving up good nasi campur, curries and noodles) and in diver-sized portions. It's close to a minimart, and several other restaurants which were all good. Our room was very clean and plenty of space, with great, hot shower, fans and ac, and fridge. If you need a hairdryer, BYO. Only thing we wished for was a lounge or sofa suite - no biggie though. And bring earplugs for the village roosters if you don't like predawn wakeups! Resort organised a driver for a day of sightseeing on the way to Denpasar for our late night flight, which was a great way to spend this non-diving day. We'd love to come back!…

Went on a 4 day, last minute dive holiday with some mates. Everything went off without a hitch. Diving was amazing and dive staff were first rate. Hire gear was excellent. Some diving highlights - Nitrox diving available. Additional $5 per tank on all inclusive diving package - O2 saturation measured every cylinder. - All gear carried to and from dive sites. - Looked after the big cameras - carrying them in and out of the water. - Right there to help you get in and out of the beach locations which had slippery rock access. We had them organize a day trip to Nusa Pineda, which was amazing. The local diving was also very good. Wrecks are interesting and so are the muck and reef dives. Hotel - Stayed in the pool rooms - main floor. - Large room with sitting room and balcony - Very friendly staff - Nice cooked breakfast - Espresso coffee drinks available (extra cost) - Free wifi. Worked very well - Massage staff - very good massage - Airport pickup to the resort was included. Newer van in good condition with a good driver. Were able to stop for lunch etc. The driver was very friendly. A few small issues with the accommodation (noisy AC, but was cool enough that you didn’t really need it). Low water pressure in the shower. Nothing to complain about though. This is Bali after all, and not a 5 star hotel. Tulamben was extremely quiet. Dive sites were empty, as were local restaurants.
