We stayed at Villa. Room very comfy, well decorated, employees always ready and with a great smile on their faces. Nice and good to stay. Good food, amazing view at pool and their restaurant! Make us uncomfortable, mosquitos in the room, and curtain isn’t enough to make room darker (unless u ok to awake at 6 am). Anyway, still had a great time there.
I arrive at night as I just drop my friend at her house. So I just go straight to room. Happy as the aircon is working, hot water work and TV with movie channel are available. Kettle with coffee and tea, water are available. So good to have tea before sleep. View from balcony were great. I can sit by balcony at early morning yo get vitamin D. Breakfast was bery small, but understand it, as room rate also cheap. Got good offer at $30/ night. For small accommodation, it seem have complete ammenities. Towel, shower gel, shampoo. Maybe they just need to fixed the toilet as I can tell that the toilet didnt sit properly. Over all, I am happy with the room compare with the money I paid.
We stayed here for 6 nights and we loved it!! The room was clean and very pretty. Also, it was very reasonably priced. It was absolutely one of the best room we've had in the last 2 months trip. The staff are very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!! 本当に素晴らしい滞在でした。お値段以上です!とても手入れの行き届いた綺麗なお宿です。夜は静かで綺麗な星が見れます。とてもオススメです!
My second stay in Pondok Mimpi Tulamben. My husband and I have our usual annual visit to Tulamben for diving trip. We both love and choose this place simply because it's cozy and quiet. It has 6 rooms only and even if it's full of guest, it won't be noisy and it's situated slightly isolated from the busy Main Street of Tulamben. Compare to Puri Madha, which we have been staying for a few times before, can be quite crowded and havoc when there's peak season and the crowd come in big group and we don't get to enjoy the serenity as they usually quite loud and party till late night But it would be great if the management can improve on their bathroom maintenance, it's damp plus bad air ventilation, the bathroom smells pretty awful, it would be great if they can fix this ! 😊
This is my second stay here at Pondok Mimpi, and yes, I will stay again soon. I like the fact that there are only 6 rooms, so there are never too many random people here. The rooms are simple but nice and have all that you need: Tv, sat tv, wifi at medium speed, hot water, restaurant, comfortable bed (pillows could be a little softer)... I have stayed in a coupe of rooms, upstairs have mountian views or ocean views which are both nice and downstairs your close to the pool or the restaurant...I prefer downstairs as I dont like stairs in general. This is a family run business with Bli Tut ( the brother of the owner) on hand to meet and greet at all times or to deal with any problems that may arise. The only thing I would like to see change is the bathrooms could be nicer and renovated as other people have mentioned, but that is not enough to stop me coming. :)…
Good location. Friendly staff. Nice quite big rooms with mountain view. Breakfast is so-so but for the price $20-25 its more than enough. I didn't like only one thing - they don't have hot water. I was a bit sick so cold shower wasn't a good choice for me.
Nice calm place in tulamben, little away from town, recommended when you have scooter rented. Beautifull garden and pool area, rooms little older but clean and with well mantained. Water pump hanged outside on wall a bit noisy in room, espacially in night, mine was running all the night in 2 minutes intervals so it was little tough to fall asleep
I've been to Tulamben for many times for scuba diving, been staying different resorts or villas. This family owned villa is one of my favourite as the villa is small and cozy, only with 6-7 rooms. It will not be noisy at night, and it give me a peaceful rest at night. The price is reasonable with great services. However, the bathroom needs some improvements.
This is a lovely little family run hotel. It's small - only 6 rooms. We stayed in room 6 which had a balcony overlooking the ocean. Really lovely place to sit and read. Room is nice - clean, spacious and the facilities are great. Air con worked well. The pool was nice and the gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was very small and their English is limited. Overall we loved our stay.
I spent my weekend at this hotel. My first impression, the property looks cute, nice atmosphere and charming. The staffs very friendly but seems have limited English skill. I was stayed at the second-floor room no 6. The view was amazing, Tulamben ocean view. I could imagine we can see sunrise just from the window. They provide mosquito nett, coffee/tea maker and hair dryer. For me, it's complete for such homestay's amenities. We have a very nice balcony. The toilet needs improvement. I don't know what's wrong but somehow it was stinky. I guess the sanitation couldn't work properly. Breakfast was ok. For some $30 a night the homestay is worth to book!
