Thank you so much for the fantastic 3 days, Ibu Iva and all the staff. It was a really nice experience, world apart from the real world ... no Covid, beautiful snorkeling for the kids, nice old shipwreck and delicious food. We will be back!!!
Tauch Terminal went way beyond our expectations. We were expecting a three star resort but arrived to an immaculate resort and spa that deserves four stars at the very least. It is immaculate. From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave you are made to feel welcome and valued. It’s a tranquil setting right on the beach so dining and having a sundowner each evening is a real pleasure. The quality of the food is excellent value for money and over five days we ate every meal at the hotel and enjoyed everything we ordered. The BBQ on New Years Eve was extremely special to say the least. This is a German family owned hotel and the quality of the rooms is to an incredibly high standard again way beyond what we paid for the room . Everything worked . We couldn’t find fault . The beds are so comfortable we struggled to get out of bed in the morning. The diving is excellent and the hire prices make it affordable twice a day. Peter the dive master is worth a special mention. We travel extensively and this is a gem . Try it . We will be back …
Been here multiple times for at least two/three nights each stay and every time we never want to leave. We spent new years here and especially during these times it was so refreshing and reassuring. The hotel is very relaxing, the staff are great, along with the management, and the place is absolutely stunning! The food is delicious and especially enjoyable with any view all the spots can offer, the open restaurant, the engaging bar, the comfortable lounge, even the rooms. The dive center is always ready to go and is complete with everything you’d need for the dive trips and snorkeling, which you’ll want to try cause the entire place is on the shoreline, perfectly in front of the Liberty Wreck from World War 2. I love being in the pool and just looking at the uninterrupted horizon, every time I need to calm my mind, this place always does the trick. Honestly, we would live here if we could!…
My wife and I stayed for two nights, we had all the meals in the airy restaurant and I went for a beach dive with a super easy access walking over a special wire mesh into the water. Otherwise my tender feet would have suffered walking on those pebbles with a heavy tank on my back. I had a dive instructor for myself, who pointed out reef sharks, moray eel, cleaner shrimp, ribbon eel, stone fish and many others. We liked the friendly family atmosphere, meeting other guests easily and at the same time, feeling secure with everyone following the Corona protocol. You can refill drinking water from the dispensers which reduces plastic bottles - a nice gesture! I wished more places would do that - and not trying to make extra money by selling bottled water. We came on our bicycles, and the friendly hotel staff helped us to give them a thorough clean and oil the chains for the trip back to Ubud.…
We have had some seriously good snorkeling time exploring coral gardens and the world famous diving site, the WW2 US ship wreck. The marine life in this area is absolutely incredible, we spotted the reef species we hadn’t seen before and explored the upper part of the ship remains (only 15 meters away from the shoreline and from 5 to 30m deep) which is now a home to the schools of all types of fish. It felt surreal as if we are one, so friendly they are (don’t forget your go pro cam to capture this amazing water world)🐠 💙 We stayed in this freshly renovated western owned and managed family-friendly beachfront diving resort with fabulous facilities. So happy we chose this place over the others in that area because our kids 11 and 6 years old could do so much there and never got bored: both sites are within easy swimming distance so we could go back and forth, kids also spent hours in the swimming pool (there are 2: leisure pool and a deep 3m one for diver course) and played a game of pool after dark. Everything we tried from the western menu was fantastic, the food is great. We got the last room on that weekend (as this is a popular resort), it was spacious, clean and cozy, got a sea view. There are all kind and all size of gears for rent for both snorkeling and diving, proper water entrance/exit to the snorkeling/diving sites, great assistants and instructors. We are very very impressed and definitely coming back for more seaside leisure and pleasures. 👌…
