On first impression, Bluehill is a lovely resort set in a beautiful garden complete with Koi ponds with water-lilies and lotuses. The flowering shrubs attract varieties of butterflies and the 25m pool is gorgeously set within the garden. Enter the room and the impression changes. The rooms are dark and musty with worn furniture and finishings. The ensuite bathroom is large but has a mouldy feel and there are stains on the white bath towels. The restaurant food is barely palatable and the staff, though polite, do not come across as having received training beyond taking customer orders. They had difficulty understanding requests for condiments that are not part of the dish. Although the staff at Bluehill is polite and pleasant, the poor facilities maintenance and inadequate staff training/supervision have let down an otherwise promising resort setting.…

We stayed for one night and we found this accommodation is fabulous. The room was very clean and neat, however the bathroom was a bit difficult to use. They have a bath tub, but when we used it, it ran out of hot water. We use shower instead however it splashed everywhere. It was unfortunate that the restaurant is closed. There is no where near we could find a food for dinner. We have to drive 8km to find a small fried chicken stall and there is nothing else.

The place is nice, very beautiful garden with a 20mt swimmingpool. Rooms are spacious and clean. Personnel is wonderful sweet and available at all times. They helped in every possible way. This small hotel is about 2 km from tulamben centre. They have a dive center with Padi dive instructors. It’s the place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet. The only downside is the restaurant with just few selection of indonesian food and very few choice for international cousine But this is like most of the places in the area.

Collection from the airport was spot on, and delivered to Bluehills via night drive. Probably best we couldnt see so much! Room comfy, staff personable, fascilities clean n tidy. Nice pool. Good food. Well organised diving with a chilled guide. Free Nitrox and unlimited dives up to 4 a day! Not much other than diving around, but for divers this is a great centre.

Had opportunity to add a trip to Bali to a Bangkok trip so had a look around and sent some emails off blue hills came back to me with some answers they would pick me up from airport and all accom and diving sorted, and to be honest they have been spot on the diving been good room is great food has been nice, I booked the unlimited dive package and done 15 dives in 4 days the guide has been spot on the resturaunt been great for the money we got 10% offf for using own kit, there driver was at the airport to collect us it’s our first time in Bali and I will be back and will defo come here,

Myself and my friend booked to stay for one night and ended up booking another night and wishing we had more time to make it longer. The rooms and bathrooms are are spacious with everything you need, with a lovely balcony with views of the ocean to one side and Mount Agung to the other. The swimming pool is big, and inviting! The staff are amazing - Komang and Agung the drivers who took us back and forth to the Liberty shipwreck (at no extra cost) were so helpful, always smiling, and ended being our friends. Erin, the manager, hooked her laptop up to the TV so that we could watch the rugby (The Springboks won:)). Luca and Made who are dive instructors at the resort shared some of their Arak with us. The whole experience was truly awesome, and we both would love to return. Great rooms, great staff who become friends, good prices and an absolutely amazing diving spot not far away make it a 15 out of 10 for me! Thanks guys!!!…

- got 5 rooms. - bathrooms great. - lots of room to rinse, and dry gear - great service - nice big pool for kids. - lots of space. Gardens well maintained. - it’s an older looking building, but very well maintained (no mold, wood not rotting, bathrooms not leaking everywhere)

This was my first time in Tulamben. We came for diving & stayed 4 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted with very friendly staff who helped us with all our luggage. Room was spacious, comfy bed, Tv w/satellite, fridge was stocked (water & sodas), tea & coffee also provided. Large balcony with fabulous views of ocean, palm trees & Mount Agung. Property located 2km from center of town but they offer free shuttle service to town. Food was ok, small portions but delicious & flavorful chicken satay & grilled barracuda. Would def come stay here again.

I was looking through hotels in Tulamben when I planned my dive trip there and I came across this accommodation. At first check I fell in love with this resort and I booked immediately. Upon arrival to this resort, we were greeted by a nice french lady, who I think was the owner. When we first entered the resort area, we were amazed by the beautiful garden and I knew I was right in choosing this resort. The swimming pool is huge and deep, perfect for a swim. We were staying on the second floor and the view were also stunning with the mt. Agung view on the side. The room was clean and the facilities were great. The only setback was the fan on the balcony didn't work, but that's not a problem. The foods and drinks could be improved, especially the juices. Otherwise everything are great! Will definitely come back again.…

This hotel is not 3 stars, but also 5 stars hotel! The pool is very very clear, the room is very romantic, the view is perfect to see and to Volcano. The garden is amazing and orderly. The beach is 10 meters and it's very nice with balck volcano 'sand'. The staff very helpful: 1. at the first night I had a backproblem, and the staff called me a masseur at 21:00, it was cheap. 2. The reception organise our taxi tour for all day around Tulamben (Besakih-Tirta Ganga-Lempuyang) very very normal price. 3. We went from Tulamben to Padangbay to dive and after that we went to Gili Trawangan with speedboat. Because of the very high price of speedboat they help us to book in normal/local price. Instead of 1.500.000 IDR/ person (return Padangbay-Gili) and we got this 500.000/ IDR/person!!! It doesn't matter that we were able to save money (2.000.000 IDR!) with their help. Breakfast was very fine, and the most important the kitchen is cool for european people, fresh, copious. So I just recommended this hotel for divers, for couples! Thank you Blue Hill!
