Upon arrival the concierge immediately grabbed our luggage to be delivered to our before we even got to the room. We were allowed to wait in a private waiting area off of the lobby and have a few beverages before our room was ready. When they took us to our room, I was truly in awe. Spacious and spa like - huge bathroom and bedroom area. And the welcome beverage complete with smoking dry ice and a moist towel to freshen up with was just over the top. The next 4 days we were there was met with beautiful weather - amazing spa treatments - wonderful breakfasts and dinners and a super relaxing pool area. The bed was more comfortable then my bed at home and the staff was exceptional at bringing us extra ice and waters. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The beach was clean and nice to walk on. We never felt unsafe at all and the in room safe was a great feature to leave our valuables in. I can't wait to come back again!

Stayed at Double Six in an Ocean View room and it did not disappoint. The views are amazing overlooking the pool and beach and the rooms are very spacious with all the little extras you do not find in other hotels. From the moment we were picked up from the Airport by the Hotels transfer service (our driver was Gede Astawa, friendly, professional and informative) to arriving at the Hotel to check in we were greeted by exceptional friendly staff. We ordered dinner at 11pm when we arrived and it was served to us within 15 minutes! Food was amazing, we also had dinner at the Plantation Bar & Grill and enjoyed the local lobster at an extremely generous price!! Breakfast buffet was beautiful with an enormous range and the daily breakfast menu was an awesome selection. We enjoyed most afternoons by the pool with the most friendliest staff. On our last day we checked out of our room and went about our day doing last minute shopping and had a swim back at the Hotel before we headed to the departure lounge in which we were able to shower and have something to eat and drink before we went to the airport at 6.30pm. My husband and I had an amazing stay at Double Six and we will return again! Great location, friendly Hotel staff and great food & wine& beer :) :)

I have read many of the reviews for this hotel and I am not sure how anyone could say that Double-Six is anything but a beautiful hotel which offers outstanding hospitality. The staff have been absolutely accommodating and have done everything possible to ensure we had a great holiday. On check in we realised our travel agent had booked us a twin room rather than a king. We were initially shown to the twin on the understanding the king rooms were fully booked but when a vacancy came up we would be shifted. Given the error was ours we were more than happy with this solution. Within 10 minutes of being in the room reception was on the phone saying they had another room as long as we were happy to have a room with a plunge pool. The team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy.
The rooms are large with beautiful bathrooms, the towels and bed linen are quality creating that indulgent holiday feel. I was pleased to see the supplied toiletries are in large refillable pump packs to reduce the impact of individual bottles. The amenities box under the sink has every item you could possibly need in a hotel stay and is refilled daily. I love the fact that Double-six also ensures the hair dryers are quality rather than those horrible buzzy thing you get in most hotel. The plunge pool was a blessing on a humid afternoon after walking to Kuta and can be made totally private by using the awning.
Breakfast in the rooftop bar is a highlight each day with many international options offered both al a carte and buffet. The buffet is not self serve which in these times of COVID is just one of the strategies in place to prevent infection. There are so many options you could eat something different every day for a month and it was all delicious.Service was always friendly and prompt and the views over breakfast were magic. We ate dinner a couple of time in the rooftop bar, the cocktails were fantastic and 50% off for guests. The menu in the rooftop bar is the same as by the pool and room service. The best meal I had was definitely the Mie Goreng and my least favourite was the fish and chips. Service was again terrific both here and by the pool. I had a couple of massages in the Aqua Perla Spa, although there are many cheaper and probably just as nice options for spas, by Australian standards Aqua Perla is reasonably priced and the quality of experience is outstanding.
Double Six is a 30 minute walk from Beachwalk in Kuta and also Seminyak Village. There are lots of options to eat within walking distance from the hotel for variety and a change of scenery.
Thank you to the management and all staff for creating such a wonderful place for a holiday. After the difficulties of the pandemic and the stress of the rest of the world this holiday was the perfect tonic.

The hotel is beautiful, i feel a bit bad about 3 stars. Great pool, staff wonderful, and right across the street from the beach. Sit in the sand all day, then have a sunset dinner at any number of restaurants on the beach, reserve a spot at the hotel's roof restaurant, or hang out at the pool bar and have a chat about life with Adi. We will be back here for sure, and a longer stay next time. Enjoyed it very much.
I want to give this place 5 stars, and the facilities most certainly deserve it, but the room layout isn't great. We went all out for a very large suite with direct access to the pool, it was not inexpensive. The layout of the room was horrible, and we won't do that again, not worth the money. The room door enters to the bathroom. Yup, you're standing in the bathroom when you enter the room. It's a big open area with two sinks and a large tub oddly perched in the middle. The toilet and shower are in a small room off to the side, but they're not separated. If you've ever been in a budget Chinese hotel, it's exactly that. When you turn on the shower, water gets all over the toilet and drains in the corner of the room. Try not to get the toilet paper wet in the process. Then when you return to the toilet later (say, before dinner), you have to walk through the water that remains on the floor - try not to slip and fall in your clean clothes.
Through the bathroom is access to the very large suite, but there is no separation between the bed and the living area, so when I'm watching TV my wife can't sleep. Not a great setup for an expensive room.
Go for a less expensive room/suite maybe. Can't wait for my return trip!

The last hotel in my long trip. One of the popular hotels in Seminyak beach. This hotel has party ambience similar to what it used to be, a discotheque, but now it's also possible for family stays. The room is a spacious, luxurious, stylish, just the vibe people would expect. The main attraction of this hotel is its close proximity to Seminyak beach, which can be reached by just crossing the road.
My reservation was upgraded to a similar room facing the beach, makes it possible for sunset gazing from the balcony (but the beach is just a walk away). In room amenities was complete. Plenty of storage drawers, working desk, comfy couch, and a chiller. The bathroom has a separated bath tub and shower, and a double wash basin. Shower drain somehow designed so that sands can pass through without clogging the pipe.
Breakfast was served in the poolside restaurant. Tables are limited so it might be full early in the morning. To make up for it, serving time was swift and efficient. All waitress worn their mask and face shield, really safe the prevent covid infection.
Car park is also limited but should be available in the low season. Guest are allowed to park their cars in the lobby if the basement was full, just follow the staff direction.
I really recommend this hotel and would stay here again on my next holiday.

We booked this hotel via booking.com for our honeymoon whilst in Seminyak. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by staff who informed us booking.com made an error. To avoid us waiting around the front of house staff were kind enough to check us in and arrange for the manager to contact us the following morning to resolve the issue.
As this was our honeymoon we were frustrated that booking.com was careless towards our special occasion. It was a lesson learnt not to book via booking.com again. This was not the hotels fault however they were accommodating to have this resolved.
The next morning Gede the operations manager was kind enough to call our room and arrange a meeting. Gede was very professional and helpful, he was very empathetic towards our situation. He went above and beyond and offered us the original rate that we booked via the third party. In addition to this he upgraded us to a premium room for free as our check in was not smooth as expected, even though it was not the hotels fault. He offered us a complimentary spa massage on site which was great. Staff were very attentive and provided a exceptional service. Gede also offered us a late checkout without any fee as our flight was at midnight the following day. Gede dealt with the situation and met our needs, he understood we came for a special occasion and wanted to immediately make it right, which he did and went over and beyond.
The room was very clean, modern, spacious and has great amenities. The hotel looks spectacular and the staff are very helpful and professional. The pool is very big and looks over the beach which has amazing views. They have their own private beach section which is handy, a member of staff is always at hand to assist.
The hotel is in a very busy area and has good security, they patrol the perimeter well to ensure customers are safe. The location is great, you are seconds away from the beach and have plenty local shops to eat or shop in.
They also gave my wife complimentary flowers and cake on two occasions during our stay, one for our honeymoon and the other for her birthday. It was nice for the team to add this special touch which goes a long way.
If we visit Seminyak again we will definitely stay at Double Six as they met all our needs and provided an outstanding service.

Great staff, always there to help. Car valet is convenient as well. Nice, big rooms. Very big bathtub. Comfortable bed. Some rooms have good view of the beach, others have views to next door resort. Breakfast spread is good, taste is okay. Alternate days for buffet and a la carte breakfast adds a nice touch is you are staying longer.

My husband and I stayed at Double Six for our honeymoon and we were so happy we did. Being our first time in Bali, it exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be coming back! Double Six picked us up from the airport, provided a unique check-in experience with a tour of the room and welcome cocktails and really made sure we were looked after throughout our stay. The daily all you can eat breakfast by the pool rooftop was exceptional, as was the rooftop sunset bar and the Italian restaurant on level 2. We also had massages at the hotel’s spa, which were easily the best massages we have ever had! I highly recommend Double Six resort to anyone going to Bali, great location, excellent service, and overall a fantastic holiday experience.

Very good hotel. The staff are, as most of the reviews have mentioned, really are the star feature. They are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. You arrive with a welcome drink, a green smoking cocktail that tastes of pineapple and vodka, it was delicious. I stayed in an ocean view room, yes the view is absolutely amazing directly overlooking the beach. The room itself was huge, the largest hotel room I have stayed in. Room 420 was probably one that needs some maintenance, but they are slowly rolling out a refresh of all the rooms. Don’t worry if you forget something as the amenities will have you fully covered. Toothbrush, loofah, floss, nail kit, free bottled water, the list goes on. Yes, the noise from the pubs across the road is at times annoying (especially karaoke night!) which makes it hard to sit on your balcony and enjoy the evening, but they stop around 11pm. My advice, take earplugs! The breakfast is great and you can order from the menu or the buffet. Huge variety of food, and fresh juices. The only fault would be that the food is mainly cold, especially the scrambled eggs and the toast could do with another couple of rounds in the toaster. Again, the staff are awesome. Plantation Grill is a must for dinner, the food and service is outstanding. Suzi Q, the other restaurant is just OK. The duck dumplings were cold, took 30 minutes for the food to arrive and the place was nearly empty, the food just didn’t hit the mark. Awesome feature if you have a late flight home, is the owners lounge. Air conditioned with plenty of comfortable lounges, free alcohol, showers and lockers. On the whole a very pleasant stay.

We had a repeat stay at the Double-Six Luxury Hotel, and cannot fault a single facet of our stay. Our suite was incredibly spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom is massive and the bed and pillow options incredibly comfortable. There had been a number of upgrades since our previous stay including an improved safe, a high quality Bluetooth speaker and an increased amount of daily drinking water which was great! Our housekeeper Made Sukada was absolutely brilliant. He was very intuitive and our room was always cleaned to the highest standard at extremely convenient times (such as when we were at breakfast). Double-Six has one of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced with a mix of a comprehensive buffet and bespoke items from an a la carte menu which now changes a number of times each week. The addition of the Beef Pho was great. Darmi and Dila made breakfast an absolute treat each day with incredible friendly and personable service. We had free flow drinks each evening on the beautiful roof top which had a great choice and the highest level of service provided each time by Juni. Double-Six is in the best location in Seminyak to enjoy the beach and beach bars across the road, further down in Legian, or the nearby great local restaurants all within walking distance. Despite the hotel being busy, the incredibly large pool and efficient pool attendants and pool bar staff ensured there was always a comfy pool bed and ice cold cocktail available. We cannot wait to go back!

This would be the option should you arrive in the hotel quite late in the evening.
