We spent a night in Diemersfontein and loved everything about it except one thing. The receptionist, wine tasting staff and the team in the restaurant were fantastic and their customer service was excellent. The only issue we had was that the walls in the rooms are paper thin. We stayed in unit 11 and could hear every sound coming from...

We visited Diemersfontein on Saturday 11 Feb.2017 - the Valentine special included a bottle of MCC on ice in the wonderfully air conditioned room. The bed, carpet and even shower were strewn with white, pink and red rose petals! We participated in the complimentary wine tasting later in the afternoon, and was entertained by a very knowledgeable and affable wine...

This wine farm has beautiful gardens and the accommodation is quiet and surrounded by greenery. It felt very safe and was great to wak around. I didnt eat here apart from breakfast which was ok but would have preferred a buffet option where there was more choice.

Old places can provide a nice feeling that is hard crete on a new place. But it has to be clean and working. This place needs an upgrade in everything. Avoid Manor house. A cottage is better but not great. Pool is dirty. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Lovely room in a beautiful traditional Manor House with great view over the mountains for sunset. Fantastic gardens & swimming pool to relax in. Met the owner who was delightful to chat with. Exceptional value.

Half an hour before I arrive I was informed that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday eve and Monday morning. I was placed in the easiest accessable room for the security although I was the only one on the estate. I inspected all the rooms and chose a nice room with a view and moved, left the next morning...

Great city getaway only a hour or so away from Cape Town. Accommodation is set around the gracious old Diemerfontein Vineyard homestead, in beautiful rambling gardens. Excellent wines can be tasted on site with informed sommeliers and buy-in scheme for staff shows in the excellent and friendly service, which is nevertheless is not obtrusive - all excellent value for money.

Diemersfontein is a average over night avoidable place to stay. I can fault nothing but every thing is average and in my opinion needs some upgrading soon. No air conditioner in the room with Desember heat is also a problem.

Rooms were neat and clean. Beautiful place with a lovely swimming pool. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very basic though with not much variety. Overall was a pleasant stay.

It is a lovely place, big garden and swimming pool. We had a wine taste, and eat dinner in the restuarant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the morning we had playful squirrel's in the tree.
