The cottage was simple, but all amenities were present and more than adequate. There was both an indoor fireplace and a braai area outside. The location was breathtaking, a little gem of a place 10 minutes away from civilisation. So quiet and peaceful, the family have created the most wonderful place for a getaway!

I loved this place, it was my best experience on my week long trip in the Western Cape. Directly next to the mountains it was a great place to start smaller hikes and wine yards where still in easy reach for tastings. I am looking forward to come back!

Was very difficult to leave after three days, wish I could stay longer. Perfect for someone that want to walk in the mountains, swim in a farm dam, watch birds and antelope, sit round a fire at night, wake up to the sound of birds go to bed at night watching stars. No mobile reception but the town is 10...

A great quiet getaway. Would definitely return. The tranquility and silence is almost unbelievable especially when you come from the city. The only problem was the beds. Not really comfortable and rooms could do with additional pillows.

we enjoyed very much staying there. Very tranquil , peaceful and green place at the food of the mountains. Seems almost like being in the alps. The cottages are very small and simple, but everything you might need is there. Robertson is only 10 minutes drive but since everything is closing at 17.00 and we saw only one restaurant open...

I was very dissappointed as the chairs and tables in front of the rooms were not clean . The towels were smelling. I also notice after people book out they only change the sheets and not the duvets. Will definately not stay there again

Lovely few days in the mountains, absolutely stunning views and beautiful hiking trails. Cosy cottages, with a nice braai area and deck to enjoy a glass of wine. Strongly recommend this place if you're going to Robertson - affordable, close to the vineyards and town and accommodates all.
